I am a bit tired and have about a million things to do so this post is gonna be short! ****I will be sure to post lots of pictures and stuff about the trip this week..so stay tuned.
In the meantime---Here is a MFTeaser featuring the new mini set that will be released by My Favorite Things on Wednesday night (right after the release party on Splitcoast Stampers from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m). Join us for fun, contests, MFTeasers and your chance to be the next My Favorite Guest Designer).
This set is adorable--it is called "Friends Furever." I thought a fun way to showcase the boy hugging his dog was to frame them in a shadow box. (See Shadow box tutorial here.)
I created the shadowbox and cut an extra triangle for the roof. I used my word window punch to create little "shingles" to adhere on top of it.
The images are colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copics.
Materials used: Stamps-Friends Furever (My Favorite Things); Brilliance black ink; Prismacolor pencils; Copics; cardstock-white, caramel, choc chip, olive (Stampin' Up!); brads (Paper Studio); Scor-Pal; Scor-Tape; word window punch (SU!); dimensionals (SU!).TIME TO CELEBRATE - BLOG CANDY: May marks my one year anniversary as a designer for My Favorite Things stamps. By the Seashore mini set is my favorite stamp set of all time, I absolutely luv it! I live near Newport R.I. & Cape Cod Mass. & this stamp is so perfect for my area! I also have & use often the Essential Sentiments, sorry thats two, but there are so many that I luv!

My second post. I thought you wanted MFT fav stamp, sorry I goofed as usual! Oh well! My favorite thing to do is walk along the beach with my son, daughter or hubby & just talk, we do that before the beaches open the last week in May & after the beaches close after Labor Day. It is such a tranquil time & we get to talk alot. We luv it! Summer is too hectic to do that with all the tourists around.

Oh! I adore the feeling this card evokes. Such pure love between a boy and his dog. The shingles are just wonderful! One of my favorite things is the sound of my daughter's laughter when she's splashing in a puddle in bare feet. Her glee is justified, as she is rarely allowed to run barefoot. Congrats on your 1 year anniversary. My - how time flies!

My favorite thing is to go to the beach with my family and hang out!!! And crafting related I think my fav's are Jumbo Eyelets with Rhinestones....just love them!!!

One of my favorite things is having my little family of 5 around the dinner table---since I have one in college now it doesn't happen as often as it used to. I DO love it when it does!

One of my favorite things would have to be gardening and all the choices there are when you garden.
