We are the Champions

Life is Busy...........My six year old son had his first baseball game last night....
Here he is warming up before the game (This was all the action he got in the field!!):

He was so excited to play....to have a uniform....and to WIN the first game!

Tonight, Melanie is hosting a blog hop for her School, Sports, Spirit! stamp set and so I created this baseball card (so appropriate for this week!):

I paired the jacket and sentiment from School, Sports, Spirit! with her Sporty Accessories images--baseball bat, glove, ball. I colored and cut out the jacket and then was able to slide the baseball bat through the arm opening. The little ball is popped inside the glove to add some more dimension.

I colored the images with Copics and prismacolor pencils and used some twine to create little corner accents.
ETA: the background paper - stripes, newspaper print and brown are all from a Sports scrapbook kit by Imagine That (Walmart).
