What's Up? and blog candy

Hi There--
I am MIA a bit this week because I have undertaken the HUGE task of moving my craft space back down to my craft room (from my bedroom.)
I moved it upstairs when my husband was deployed and now that he has been home a few months....he thinks it is best that it moves back to the cave :)

The good news---I will have TONS of good things to share soon. I NEED to purge in order to make room for the new!

In the meantime, how would you like to win the new issue (May/June) of Crafts 'n Things Magazine? I love this magazine for the variety of projects they offer. It is fun to see so many other craft ideas and figure out how i can relate them to paper: Here is a card I have in the current issue:

And this card was in the March/April issue:

If you would like to be entered to win the May issue, just leave a comment on this post and let me know your favorite crafty projects besides cards! You have until Friday, April 23 at 8 p.m. central time to enter. Random.Cara will pick a winner and you will have four days to contact me after that. (Subscribers can enter twice!)
Thanks for stopping by! Back to work!

  10. Love the butterfly card...very realistic. I just finished...and when I say just finished I mean minutes ago :)...making a topiary for my mom for mothers day using a styrofoam ball, felt flowers cut with my cuttlebug, a wooden dowel and a small ceramic pot...oh and tons of corsage pins. It turned out great!

  20. Hey Cammie, since I am probably older then the majority of you, I have tried and enjoyed every craft that has come along. Macrame, tole painting, cross stitch, embroidery, flower arranging, cake decorating, crocheting. Right now I am working on a scrap book for my grand daughter who will be 21 on May 3rd. She is the daughter of my son, Scott that died in Feb. It is a very hard project to work on, but I believe one that she will hold close to her heart.

  28. I sometimes walk to the library on my lunch hour to check out Crafts 'n Things and can always pick out your cards. They just jump off the page at me. We are renovating our basement and I've been crafting out of boxes but next week the carpet will be installed and after I move everything back I'm hoping to be able to get down to some serious crafting. What do I do besides cards? At the moment I am making 60 notebooks for Girl Scout leader recognition night, a desk set for our membership services manager and boxes for Hershey kisses for troop organizers. But my real second love is cross stitching. I have several projects in the works. One is a Indianapolis Colts pillow for my son who is a huge Peyton Manning fan for Christmas. (I had to start early so I'd have plenty of time. I love to cross stitch but it's the sewing that will hang me up. LOL!) Thanks for the chance to win! Sorry I wrote a book!

  52. I'm in the middle of a studio re-org and know the chaos. I always love your creations and find myself mostly working with paper based crafts, but do enjoy a bit of painting - usually on terra cotta pots for gifts.

  54. Cammie, Love these cards your creations are always so inspiring. I am always torn between my two hobbies, paper crafting and quilting. It's like I have to set one aside to work on the other. I hope that when I retire someday that I will have enough hours in the day to do both all the time.

  58. A pipe just burst in the ceiling of my little craft room (it's in the basement under the kitchen) so I am in the midst of tearing out the carpet and reorganizing. What a chore but the good news is that I have found a lot of goodies I have stashed away so when I do finally get it all back together, I will have my stuff out where I can find it to play with! Yea!!!
Good luck with your room! :o)
