I created this with Melanie's A Year of Leaves set (Gina K Designs). I coupled the leaves with some Recollections Autumn designer paper (Michael's):
The leaves are stamped and colored with Copic markers. Then, I layered a piece of vellum over the leaves and stitched the edges. I added some fun ribbon and a tulle tie to get lots of texture into this card.I stamped the sentiment and then punched it out with an oval punch and layered it over the ribbon.

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I love the idea of sewing vellum over something. I don't use vellum alot because I was never sure how to attach it. I am definitely going to try this!!
