Today, each illustrator is giving you another view of her new set. So....here are a few more peeks at my new set-Stamp It Big! 2, which will be available tonight after the release party at Gina K Designs!
For my samples today---I created a few cards to show you just a few things you can do with this set. This set also works so well with all of your other stamp sets and I will be showing you lots more samples pairing it with the new Gina K stamps next week on the blog hops!
First up---a card using the large house stamp. This stamp is BIG...perfect for creating a card where the image is THE focus! Love using it with and without the heart. (To create house without heart: Place a piece of a post it note over the heart before inking, remove post it and stamp---you have a house without the heart! I'll have a sample of this to share soon!) I embossed the house in white and then paper pieced the heart. I stamped the sentiment with some new Sweet Corn ink!
Next, there is a BIG banner in the set. The banner can be stamped, cut out and then scored to be added to the card but here is another way to use it. After paper piecing the banner sections, I stamped the Hello sentiment with some Red Hot ink! The button is from Gina K color companion collection.
Next, I stamped the solid butterflies in the set repeatedly in a grid that I scored with my Scor-Pal. There is an outline image of this butterfly in the set too, but I just used the solid stamp for this card. I took a black marker and just darkened the middle of each butterfly. (It looks cool to use rhinestones or thread too!) I embossed the large sentiment in white below the butterfly panel. The ribbon is from Gina K collection.
Finally, I wanted to show you another fun use for the house stamp in the set. Since this image is large---there are many things you can do with it. Here is one of them----A luggage tag! I paper pieced the image, and then laminated the house (you can just use clear packaging tape) and then added the grommet. I added some Gina K gingham ribbon through to tie the tag to a bag. You can put your address, name or any other information on the back of the tag...there is plenty of room. But, I think with this on your luggage--You will know which bag is yours:)
To see another sample using Stamp it Big! 2, you can check out my post right underneath this one!
Hope you like it!!
