GKD Autumn Leaves Preview

Hi Everyone---I am so happy to be in the blog line-up today for the next set that Gina K is previewing. If you missed the peeks from yesterday--you can check them out on Gina's blog. They are fantastic!!!

Today--the design team is showing their cards made with two new sets called: Autumn Leaves and Spooky Silhouettes. Obviously, I am showing you Autumn Leaves!

I LOVE this set---I know it will be a 'go-to' set for sympathy and beautiful fall cards. I used one of the larger cluster of leaves and clear embossed it--then brayered more mustard (SU!) ink over it and blotted off the color. Then, I sponged the edges in mustard and then in cocoa. Easy but.....dramatic.

But my favorite part of this card is the little button accent I made.

Here is a close up of the button!

Materials used: Autumn Leaves (Gina K Designs); cardstock- choc chip, whisper white; Brilliance Black ink; ink-More Mustard, Close to Cocoa (Stampin' Up!); brayer; sponge; clear button (SU!); Copic markers; tab punch (SU!); hemp; brads (SU!); clear embossing powder; Versamark; heat tool.

Now go check out all the fun stuff the other designers created--you can find all the links for them here.

**Other news: Next up--sneak peeks of my new set and you chance to win it---Stay tuned! I am so excited!!

*****My Favorite Things is holding their new release party tonight (Wednesday from 9-11 p.m. EASTERN time zone). You can find all the peeks, challenges and fun HERE! Hope to see you there!

Thanks for stopping by!
