I paper pieced my scarecrow's shirt because I loved that dp and thought it resembled a fun plaid design. For fun, I added some raffia out his collar and sleeves to make him look more realistic (even tho scarecrows aren't real anyway?!).
I added part of a sentiment from a old MFT set called "Falling for You" and added some more raffia for the embellishing!
Here is a close up of the scarecrow---can you see the hay (ahem, raffia?)Materials used: We're Not Scared, Falling for You (My Favorite Things); cardstock-choc chip, vanilla (Stampin' Up!); Designer paper-My Mind's Eye; raffia; Copic Markers; Spellbinders Nestability dies; Cuttlebug (Provocraft); Scor-Pal; jumbo eyelet (SU!); Cropadile; dimensionals (SU!); circle punch (SU!); paper piercing tool and template.
