CardMaker Blog Team Hop: Sweets for Your Sweet

Hello! Happy Friday! Welcome to the Cardmaker Blog team hop: Valentine's Day--Sweets for Your Sweet.  We had to create a card featuring chocolates, cupcakes, candies, etc.

Here is what I came up with:

I was looking at some chipboard circles I had in my stash and I thought that the circles would make cute lollipops :)

To make the lollipop:
1.  Take the chipboard circle and adhere the stick to the back.
2.  Trim the stick to the size you want.
3.  Cover the "lollipop" with a ziplock bag. Trim the bag on one side so there isn't a lot of excess.
4.  Tie some baker's twine around the base of the lollipop.
5.  Trim bottom of ziplock.

Of course, you could use a real lollipop, but if you want a card that won't be disassembled, this is a great alternative :)

Supplies:
White cardstock (Gina K Designs)
stickers-We've Got Your Stickers Plus- Strawberry
Chipboard circle- Chipboard shapes Glitter accents (Little Yellow Bicycle)
Patterned paper- Sweet Summertime: Summertime Stripe (Little Yellow Bicycle)
wooden stick
fibers- Baker's Twine- Pink Sorbet, Lemondrop (The Twinery)
Corner rounder punch
