Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 1

Hello! Welcome to the Gina K Designs Inspiration Hop- Day 1!  Gina and the design team are showing you cards and projects with the newest release! As you navigate you way through the hop, make sure to leave a comment at each stop because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a Gina K. Today we are using the new sets- Beyond Baskets (Melanie Muenchinger) and Joyful Holiday (Theresa Momber).

Here is my first card, which uses Beyond Baskets:
As with many of Melanie's sets--this one works perfectly with several of her already released sets.  But..it also functions just fine on its own as I have used it above.  I love all the great containers she offers in this set and I am excited to fill 'em all up!  For this card, I chose to punch a few hearts and fill the wagon with some love :)   I added the sentiment in two colors...using Memento tuxedo black ink right above the wagon and then I embossed the word "love" on the wagon. 

Next, I used Theresa's elegant new set Joyful Holiday to create this holiday greeting:

 
I stamped the tree on Ivory cardstock using Memento Cottage Ivy ink.  I embossed the sentiment in gold on the bottom of the card.  I kept the embellishments very simple to make this easy to mail.  I couldn't resist adding bling to the tree, though.  Lots of little rhinestones are added to the tips of the branches to make the tree sparkle!

    Beautiful, the wagon card is so cute, I like the grass and 3D effect. The Christmas card is perfect to, that tree stamp looks gorgeous, the way you used it.
