Hello Friends

Hello! Playing again with My Favorite Things Cute Critters stamps.  I ended up die cutting and stamping a lot of these guys and I spend the time at my daughter's tennis lessons coloring them.  Then, I just have to pop them on a card....once I figure out how I want to use them!

And here is basic sympathy design I came up with using stamps from Gina K. Designs (large flower, sentiment) and My Favorite Things (small flower). The large bloom is embossed in white and then I die cut and stamped the two colors on the small flower and popped it up.  I embossed the sentiment and then just added some hemp and a piece of washi tape in the background.  I like the simplicity of it.

Hope your October is going well. Do you decorate for fall or for Halloween?  I love it but never make it too scary because I am a wimp.  I have been spending a lot of time getting the house ready for the Halloween festivities.  Pictures to come :)

Gasp! More cards...

Hello! Me again---I know....twice in one week:)  I will get more creative with my post titles once I get used to this again.  Right now, I am just having fun delving into all the stamps and dies that I have gotten in the past year but have not had time to use.

First up is a birthday card which uses My Favorite Things Birthday Sentiments and Lucky Stars Dienamics. I also used some star stamp outlines from Out of this World because it was sitting on my desk and I thought a few stars among the die cuts would go well.
For this card, I placed the stars (not pulled apart) on the cardstock front and die cut them.  Then I pieced cardstock scraps behind the cut out stars. I stamped the fun sentiment in Memento Love Letter ink and added some Twinery twine and a few rhinestones:

The next card features one of my favorite sets: Cute Critters from My Favorite Things.  I die cut and stamped the raccoon, colored him with Copic markers and popped him up. I die cut the hearts using Tag Builders #5. The patterned paper is from Echo Park (Sweet Day). I sponged the edges of the card with some Tea Dye Distress ink. Finally, I added a bit of Twinery twine to the bottom of the card:

MFT Cards

Hello! I decided to jump in and play along with the MFT Superstar Card Contest and that meant I had to figure out where everything in my office was hiding.  It has been awhile since I have taken the time to stamp :) After figuring out that computer wasn't working so I had to use my laptop and my camera wasn't charged. ugh!

Anyway, after dusting off the cobwebs....Here are the two cards I made today:
(These photos are from my iPhone since my camera wasn't charged:()

My first card is a tag card and I used several MFT sets on it, including So Much Love, Modern Blooms Stamps and Dies, Tag Builder BP#5, Mini Wavy Pennants.

And my second card features some MFT sets and dies that are not Halloween sets but I altered them to make them fit.  The Pure Innocence girl is carrying a bouquet in the original (PI Heart Bouquet) and I used a little fella from Out of the World set to put in her arms.  (I had to cut out his eyes off and put them on top of his body so they wouldn't cover her face!). The sentiment is a piece of a sentiment from True Friends stamp set:

Not sure if you can see the faint stars stamped in the background.  They are from Out of the World set.

It was so much fun to get all inky again! Thanks for stopping by!

Cutsie Valentines

Hello! Happy Thursday :) I just got back from an awesome girls weekend in Florida with some of my favorite people:
The weather was crappy....but the company was not!  Had a blast and even got the opportunity to visit My Favorite Things and pick up a few new stamp sets.

These two cards are both using Cute Critters stamp set and Dienamics:

Guess I am ready for Valentine's Day!  Enjoy your weekend:)

In Memory of Charlene

Hello!  Today I have the honor of participating in a very special challenge on the CCEE blog today. The post is dedicated to our wonderful, amazing m&m-loving friend, Charlene, who lost her battle to cancer.  Today is her birthday so we are celebrating her life----All of the current and past CCEE members made a card that was either inspired by one in her gallery or by things she loved---the color purple, m&ms, penguins!
I made two cards inspired by her love of the color purple.

I know Charlene is having a rockin', party in heaven today :)  Head on over to the CCEE blog to see all the wonderful cards in tribute to her.

Love Always

Hello!  Long time no blog!!  I have been busy with the kids and de-cluttering the house and have not had much time to get my hands inky.  But, now that my office is nice and clean and organized....I took a little time to make a card :)

I used Elegant Flourishes set from Gina K Designs and stamped the large flourish and the smaller flourish using Moonlit Fog ink.  I used some flowers to embellish the large flourish.  The sentiment sticker is from SRM Stickers : Fancy Sticker Sentiments, Love.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great day!

Stamp SALE :)

Hi there!  I am finally getting around to finishing up cleaning out my office.  It has taken awhile.... as a result of the great clean-out,  I thought I would offer up stamp surprise packages.  In each box I will include at least 10 large sets (smaller sets count for 1/2 set, single stamps will just be extras).  I will put an assortment of companies and stamps in each box (as pictured below).   The price will be $60, which includes shipping to anywhere in the United States.  I promise that this will be a great deal---:)

Here is a peek at some of the sets getting ready to go to a new home--

If you are interested in a box---please email me at and I can send you pictures and give you details.
The stamps are gently used, although some have not been used at all.  Some stamp sets have coordinating dies with them as well.

Gotta clean out so I can make room for the new stuff!  Email me if you are interested.  Hope to be back soon with a card (now that the kids are back in school!!)
