Today, the illustrators and some of the design team have put together a little invitation hop for you! This hop features stamps that will be released tonight! So come hop along with us and don't forget to add a comment on each blog...we will pick an random winner to win an awesome grab bag of Gina K Design goodies!! All of the new sets will be available tonight after the release party at Gina K Designs! My new set is called Elegant Flourishes. I have always been drawn to flourishes and I have combined many of my favorite aspects of them to create a versatile set to use as a card focus or as a background or accent.
For my samples today---I created a few cards to show you just a few things you can do with this set. This set also works so well with all of your other stamp sets and I will be showing you lots more samples pairing it with the new Gina K stamps next week on the blog hops!
For my first card, I wanted to use the flourish as the main focus of the card--I stamped it with Moonlit Fog ink and then punched a star and popped it on top. I used a sentiment from Lots of Lines to finish off the card:
Next, I used the flourish (stamped in Red Hot ink) as a little accent behind the punched Christmas tree. The sentiment is from the new set called Stamper's Favorites.
For my final card, I wanted to show you a flourish that doubles as greenery-- I stamped the flourish on the cardstock and then punched a vase to place over it. I added some flowers and rhinestones and pearl accents to finish up the focal image. I stamped a sentiment from the new set--Vertical Greetings- in the corner.
