Love is in the Air!

:)  Yep! That is the theme for this week's challenge on StampTV hosted by me!  The challenge is to create a card using LOVE in any way---it can be a Valentine's card or a general card or even a Christmas card.  The only key is to incorporate the word LOVE or a heart onto the card.  Easy-because I know it is a crazy week for all of us!

You can see the challenge post HERE.

Here is my card for the challenge:

I used these stamp sets from Gina K---Elegant Flourishes and Lots of Lines.  I stamped the large flourish on white cardstock and then punched out the heart shape.  The result is a flourished heart.  (I have to try this with flocking!)  I embellished the card and then stamped the sentiment below.

Hope you give it a try---I would love to see what you come up with!

Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 3!

Hello! Welcome to Day 3 of the Gina K Designs December Inspiration Hops.  Remember to leave a comment on each blog of the hop because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today, we are showing projects created with Lots of Thanks and Celebration Diva!
For my first card, I used the thank you for Lots of Thanks and the dotted strip from the set.  I paired it with the large flourish in Elegant Flourishes set, which I stamped with In the Navy and Ocean Mist ink.  I stamped the snowflake from the Season's Greetings StampTV kit and punched it out and added a few rhinestones.

Next, I paired another sentiment from Lots of Thanks with the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes stamped in Grass Green ink for a quick and easy thank you:

Next, I stamped the thank you from Lots of Thanks and then punched it out and placed it on a label that I die cut.  I stamped the dots from the set below the sentiment and placed it on top of a flourish from Elegant Flourishes:

Finally, I have a card showing off the fabulous new Diva- Celebration Diva!  I created the background by stamping the circles from Elegant flourishes in Sweet Corn ink.  I stamped the girl in black ink and colored her dress and accessories with a black marker.  I added a few glitter drops to her bubbly drink and added a pearl to the flower on her headband.  I finished off this card with a sentiment from Lots of Lines:

Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 2!

Hello again---Welcome to Day 2 of the Gina K Designs Inspiration Hops!  We hope you are inspired by all of the projects today. As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today we are sharing projects created with Elegant Flourishes and Stamper's Favorites!

For my first card, I combined the two sets.  I stamped the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes with Grass green ink.  I stamped one smaller flourish in the two bottom corners and another to frame the sentiment.  The gorgeous hummingbird and sentiment are from Stamper's Favorites.  I added the little flowers onto the flourish (and colored them with a Copic marker!)

My next card combines the sets as well (see--they just go together so well :)  I stamped the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes in black ink and then stamped the flower from Stamper's Favorites using Red Hot ink on white cardstock.  I colored the flower using Copic markers.  I stamped the sentiment from Stamper's Favorites in black.   For this card I used the tiny dot arches that are in the Elegant Flourishes set.  The arch of dots fits the inside of the large leg of the flourish perfectly.  BUT....you can arrange the stamp to fit all the inside and outside loops of the flourish because of the ease of bending clear stamps!  I stamped the circle arch in Moonlit Fog ink.

My next card also features both sets.  I embossed the butterfly from Stamper's Favorites in white on blue cardstock and added some black rhinestones on it.  I stamped the smaller flourishes from Elegant Flourishes on Kraft cardstock in Gina K white pigment ink.  The sentiment is from Stamper's Favorites:

Next, this card features the closed dotted circle from Elegant Flourishes.  I stamped the circle in black on the card and then punched small circles to fill in the design.  I used a sentiment from Lots of Lines to finish up this birthday greeting:

Finally, A little Christmas card that uses both sets.  I stamped the flourish (just inked the top part of the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes) in Red Hot ink.  I punched the tree shape to place on top of the flourish.  I stamped a sentiment from Stamper's Favorites in Red Hot ink under the patterned paper strip:

Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the December Gina K Designs Inspiration Hops.   As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today we are sharing projects using Vertical Greetings and It's the Little Things!

My first card showcases the gorgeous poppies from Vertical Greetings paired with a sentiment from the set.  I stamped the poppies, colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out.  I added them to the panel I die cut from patterned paper.  For the base of this card, I stamped the large flourishes from Elegant Flourishes set in Grass Green ink so that I could pop the poppy panel over them.  I stamped the little dragonfly from Vertical Greetings on one flourish using Sweet Corn Ink.

Next, I have a card I shared on the Illustrator hop the other day.  I paired a Vertical Greeting with a smaller flourish from Elegant Flourishes to create this greeting:

For my next card, I used the adorable elephant from It's the Little Things.  So cute!  I stamped the balloon and paper pieced it and then added some white accents.  I stamped the sentiment in black and Red Hot ink. I added a little black rhinestone to his eye to make it more dimensional.

Next, I sat the little fox from It's the Little Things on the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes.  I used a sentiment from Vertical Greetings to finish this card:

Gina K Illustrator Hop and Release Party Invite

Good Morning! Today the Gina K Designs Illustrating team is inviting you to our Release Party, which will be held tonight from 7-9 p.m. Central time on StampTV!

Today, the illustrators and some of the design team have put together a little invitation hop for you! This hop features stamps that will be released tonight! So come hop along with us and don't forget to add a comment on each blog...we will pick an random winner to win an awesome grab bag of Gina K Design goodies!!   All of the new sets will be available tonight after the release party at Gina K Designs!  My new set is called Elegant Flourishes.  I have always been drawn to flourishes and I have combined many of my favorite aspects of them to create a versatile set to use as a card focus or as a background or accent.

For my samples today---I created a few cards to show you just a few things you can do with this set.  This set also works so well with all of your other stamp sets and I will be showing you lots more samples pairing it with the new Gina K stamps next week on the blog hops!

For my first card, I wanted to use the flourish as the main focus of the card--I stamped it with Moonlit Fog ink and then punched a star and popped it on top.  I used a sentiment from Lots of Lines to finish off the card:

Next, I used the flourish (stamped in Red Hot ink) as a little accent behind the punched Christmas tree.  The sentiment is from the new set called Stamper's Favorites.

For my final card, I wanted to show you a flourish that doubles as greenery-- I stamped the flourish on the cardstock and then punched a vase to place over it. I added some flowers and rhinestones and pearl accents to finish up the focal image.  I stamped a sentiment from the new set--Vertical Greetings- in the corner.

Start hopping and be sure to leave a comment!!

The full reveal of all the new sets and products happens tonight  at 7 p.m. central time in the Stamp TV Release Party Forum.   Join us for Challenges, Contest Questions, Design Team Samples, Full Stamp Set Reveals and, of course, party chit chat!!!

All new products will be loaded to the store in the What's New section at that time.   And, next week---look for the design team's inspiration hops Monday-Wednesday, which will show you lots of fabulous ways to use all of the new release stamps.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  I hope you like my new set!
