I created this little gift card holder using my Perfect Purse template (Gina K Designs) and some tan leather cardstock (love this stuff!):
This time, instead of making the bag really elaborate...I kept it super simple so I could add this fancy flower. The flower is created from designer paper from Jillibean Soup. I used the blossom die from Spellbinders and cut five layers for the flower and then just scrunched each layer. I cut a flower from another piece of designer paper from Jillibean for the center. Then I cut the leaves. (Sigh! Love this paper!)
Tip: Make your paper go further---the patterned paper I used for the leaves says "Happy Holidays" but I cut the shape so that just the word "happy" shows.
Materials used: Designer paper- Old World Cabbage Soup Paper:brown rice, Grandmas Christmas Soup:Can Tomato Soup (Jillibean Soup); Perfect Purse template (Gina K Designs); brad and eyelets (Making Memories); Blossom cutting dies (Spellbinders); cardstock-tan leather, chocolate kiss (Gina K designs); caramel stamp pad (SU!).
