Here is a look at my new set- Stamp it Big! 2:
Finally, here are some tips on using the set (I am sure you will think of even more ways to use the combination of large words and fun elements together!)
Stamp It Big! 2 Tip Sheet
As with the first set, the
large sentiments make great focal points for cards. They work well with Sentiments from Stamp it
Big! as well.
Here are possible sentiment
combinations just using this set:
Hello
Hello There
Love
With Love
Miss You
Love You
Thanks
With thanks
Hi
Love & Thanks
Love & Miss You
Hi & Hello
Tip: these sentiments look
great stamped in multiple colored ink and covering a card front. IT makes an easy but fun card.
Image Design ideas:
The designs in this set are
LARGE---intended to take center stage on your cards or pages.
The large notched bracket
houses the sentiments well for scrapbook pages and cards but it also works to
stamp onto projects by itself by using the design cut off. It also creates a great backdrop for a
sentiment. I like paper piecing this
design.
You can also stamped the
notched bracket and cut out to be scored and added to the card for a
dimensional banner.
The house can be stamped as
is OR you can mask the heart off before inking and then stamp it so that the
heart is not stamped. Add the bird in
front of the house for a change. This
would make a cute
“Miss You” card.
“Miss You” card.
Stamp the house image on a
folded piece of card stock (fold to the left) and cut out to create an adorable
mini card or gift tag. Note: Do not cut
the side with the fold! The resulting
design is a cute shaped card J [This would be so
cute to add to a plate of cookies to welcome new neighbors. Just stamp the “Hi” on the house and you have
a cute mini note to add to the welcome treat.
You can put your contact info inside so they have your information.]
The house makes a great personalized
luggage tag—never confuse your luggage with any one else’s again.
The bird can be used on its
own or stamped and have him saying one of the phrases. The speech bubble cut file from Stamp It Big!
would work great with this fella.
Perch the bird on the chimney
of the house for a cute look.
The butterflies are great whether
you want solid ink filled designs or a butterfly you can piece or color. I love stamping the solid butterfly design
and then adding a stitch or a swipe of black marker down the center of the
card. Easy card idea with little effort. Another option is to stamp the solid image
and then stamp the outline in a different color over it. Using a darker color for the outline makes
the line image pop.
The brackets and arrows are
accent pieces and are fun to create graphic greetings or to use in Project life
or scrapbooking pages.
Here is another more card idea using this set. I stamped the large banner, cut it out and scored it twice on each side to make a dimensional banner. Before adding it to my card, I stamped the large hello sentiment. Then, I embossed the solid butterfly stamp in white and stitched some black thread through the centers:
