Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the December Gina K Designs Inspiration Hops.   As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today we are sharing projects using Vertical Greetings and It's the Little Things!

My first card showcases the gorgeous poppies from Vertical Greetings paired with a sentiment from the set.  I stamped the poppies, colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out.  I added them to the panel I die cut from patterned paper.  For the base of this card, I stamped the large flourishes from Elegant Flourishes set in Grass Green ink so that I could pop the poppy panel over them.  I stamped the little dragonfly from Vertical Greetings on one flourish using Sweet Corn Ink.

Next, I have a card I shared on the Illustrator hop the other day.  I paired a Vertical Greeting with a smaller flourish from Elegant Flourishes to create this greeting:

For my next card, I used the adorable elephant from It's the Little Things.  So cute!  I stamped the balloon and paper pieced it and then added some white accents.  I stamped the sentiment in black and Red Hot ink. I added a little black rhinestone to his eye to make it more dimensional.

Next, I sat the little fox from It's the Little Things on the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes.  I used a sentiment from Vertical Greetings to finish this card:

That's it for me today---Check out these blogs for some inspiring ideas using these new sets:
