My Favorite Releases from CHA!

Hello!  I am finally recovering from the time change from attending CHA earlier this week.  CA is a lot farther of a flight from PA than it was from Texas and it hit me harder than usual.  I just downloaded some of the product pictures I took and thought I would share some of my favorite products that will be coming to stores very soon!

First up---this Scissor Mouse by Westcott.  This is really cool. There is a blade underneath and you run it along your paper just like a computer mouse.  It runs smoothly and the best part---you don't have to put it on a mat...there is a protector underneath that protects the surface so you can cut anywhere:

SRM Stickers new release includes these crystal clear border stickers- We've Got Your Border-- that you can add to anything---cards, scrapbook pages, the Tubes, ribbon etc! Fun to be able to create your own patterns:

I love these 3d pieces from Studio 490 (Ranger).  You can stamp them with coordinating stamps, add patterned paper and/or ink:

Paper Smooches (Kim Hughes) released new stamps for CHA that will be available in March.  The collection features wonderful backgrounds and some more adorable hand drawn images that we all know and love:
October Afternoon had a big display of their Sprinkler sprays in so many colors that coordinate with their papers and I really liked the new collection called 9 to 5:

Little Yellow Bicycle always has fun papers and embellishments and I was excited to see what was new with them.   The Escape (June release) features these papers and embellishments. Cute!

And this is Splash (May Release)....soo cute. Love those fish and the circle paper:

Jillibean Soup stands out to me because they have their own style, never confused with another brand.  I love the little Cool Bean Buttons:
They have some great paper lines coming out too---this one is called Southern Chicken Dumpling Soup! (I love how they name their lines!)

Echo Park Paper has several lines being released and they have some smaller collections being released with the thought that those collections are needed but you might not need a whole collection.  The themes of these range from 4th of July to sports.  Very cool.

They also have some full releases coming out and here are two of my favorites--
Note to Self:
 This & That:

Clever Handmade is a new paper company by Heidi Grace that features paper but also other products that enable you to go beyond the typical paper projects...definitely clever stuff!

Here is a look at the Decorative Iron ons:
And this is one of my favorite lines called Above the Clouds:  (VERY cute but hard to photograph with the lighting)

Finally, Nikki Sivils has some really cute lines---
I loved these--- Audrey and Exit Here:

There was so much to see and look at that I am sure I missed a lot of great things.  I was really interested in checking out the new paper lines and products that were new and unique.  One other product I really liked but failed to get a picture of was by Imaginisce--the ribbon cutter. It cuts and seals the ribbon in one step. Very cool!
CHA was so much fun but now I can't wait to get my hands on all the new stuff!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Finally.....some CHA pictures!

After a month away--it is really nice to be home. However, I am NOT enjoying the unpacking, laundry and scramble to get the kids ready for school. Sigh!
So....I am taking a break from all of that to post some of the people pics I have from CHA. (Special thanks to those who emailed me some pictures and to those who pics I "borrowed" from facebook :) )

With Sharon Harnist: she is a wonderful person and hugely talented:
I made sure to grab lunch with two of my awesome friends who live in my computer---Rae Barthel and Kimberly Crawford. Love these girls:

I didn't have my own picture because I was working at the time, so I had to steal this one off Susan Opel's (PaperCrafts Mag) facebook page. She is a sweetheart and has to put up with tons of questions from me all the time:

Maren Benedict and I. I did NOT get enough time to hang with her this CHA so I missed that. She is one of my soul sisters in this craft. We just click. We DID get to work at booths across from each other though....so I could kind of harass her while she did her make n takes:

Another pic with Rae-She is a DOLL! (and so is her mom!) Yep...stole this one off her facebook page! Thanks Rae!:

I spent some time with Lydia Fielder at this CHA! It was really nice to get to know her. She is doing an awesome job in her new position at Splitcoaststampers. What a sweet person:

I was working again when I bumped into Kimmie Reid. Love her and miss the days when we designed together. (Thanks for sending this to me, Kimmie! Hugs!):

Kim (My Favorite Things), me, Cindy Lawrence, and Deb Anton--LOVE these ladies:

Me with Kim (My Favorite Things) and Gina (Gina K Designs)---What can I say? These women are incredible, thoughtful and just amazing in every way. I have worked with both of them for YEARS...and LOVE them dearly.

Kim, me and my roomie-Deb. Had to get in another pic with Deb. We took lots but most of them are sooo goofy! Deb is a dear friend. We were neighbors for a few years until the Army took us separate ways. She has the biggest heart. Love this girl!:

Talk about big hearts--Jessica Deidrich is soo sweet. She is the kind of person who just makes everyone feel comfortable! So glad to see her again:

The MFT gang at dinner: I spent most of my time with this group...setting up, walking around, working shifts, EATING, DRINKING and just having fun. So fun! LOVE em:

Carole Burrage and me---she JUST might be as wacky as I am! I cannot believe we have so many goofy pictures and I don't have one normal one from this trip. Go figure! Love you girl:

I was so excited to meet Belinda Chang Langner. She popped over to the MFT booth when I was working and got this picture (Thanks for sending it to me!!!) She is as sweet as she is talented!

....and there were so many other wonderful talented people I met but don't have pictures of :(
But....it was a BLAST! So glad I got to go.
Hoping to get stamping again soon! LOTS of FUN things on the horizon.....but first...have to get my kids ready for a good school year!
STAY TUNED.... :)

CHA Pictures

Well....here they are....some of the pictures I took from CHA. I was really bad about taking pictures. I saw/met lots of other wonderful stampy friends but I was so excited to hug most people that I forgot to take a picture.

The BEST thing about CHA is seeing all your wonderful friends who you have "known" for ages but have never met in person!

Dawn Easton and I (I admit, I swiped this from her blog!) LOVE her and it was so nice to give her a hug for real:

Stamper's Dream Team: Tosh Leyendekker, me, Michelle Rodgers (owner of Stamper's Dream store) and Amy Sheffer. LOVE these gals! It was so fun to have time to sit and talk (oh yeah....and eat!)

Me, Kim Van der Sanden (My Favorite Things), Deborah Anton. I spend most of my time with these awesome ladies (and Alma!):

Me and Maren Benedict! LOVE her....Should have gotten a picture of the "drink" we had that night!

JustRite/Stamper's Dream Dinner: We had a GREAT time at the Cheesecake Factory on Saturday night! Thanks Kellie!!!!!!!

Debbie Olsen, me, Kellie Fortin (JustRite), Sharon Harnist, Amy.

Debbie Olsen, Me, Tosh, Kellie, Sharon, Amy, Michelle:

At the TradeShow with Amy, Alma de la Rosa (The Cat's Pajamas), Kim and Deb:

I had a blast hanging out with all my stamping friends. It is really fun to get together with so many people who "get" what you do. I miss them already!

Thanks for stopping by!

CHA Friends!

Well, I am back from CHA! It was a blast.....my favorite part was meeting (or seeing) so many awesome friends! All of my pictures are people ones this time because I didn't have my camera much while I was on the show floor. There are lots of fun products that will be released soon---but I am sad to hear that some (of my favorite) companies will be closing their doors. Sigh!

Here are some pictures (that I remembered to take!) There were so many other people I had the opportunity to meet or see again that I don't have photos of---just didn't take enough pictures I guess!

This picture is of the Stamper's Dream gals: Amy Sheffer, Laurie Schmidlin, Michelle Rodgers (owner), Tosh Leyendekker and me:

This picture is of Carole Burrage *yeah, we're friends. She was one of my roomies at CHA this year. We had a blast!

This is Emily (Stamping Bella), Nicky (Stamping Bella) and Shannan Tuebner:

Well, I am a bit embarrassed about ALL the empty drink glasses in this picture. Let's just blame them on Michelle Giraud and Laura Canale. Love these gals!

Here is a picture from dinner on our last night. We were all tired but it was so worth it!

Me, Lisa Johnson, Val Stangle (some of my stamping idols!):
Gina K Gals: me, Cindy Lawrence and Emily Giovanni:

At last I got to meet my CCEE buddy--Tosh Leyendekker:

What a doll---Sharon Harnist:

Kim Van der Sanden (My Favorite Things) and Alma (The Cat's Pajamas):

The Splitcoaststampers Dirty Dozen dinner on Sunday night:

Deb Anton and I---6 a.m. Sunday morning at the local hospital, sans makeup! (We had to take a friend to the hospital suddenly and took this picture in the waiting room. Sadly, this is the only picture I have with just her and I! She was my other roommate and another dear friend of mine.)

Daven Nolta, Cindy Lawrence and Tosh at the Dirty Dozen dinner:

Carole Burrage and I:

AJ Otto, Me and Jennifer Buck at the Splitcoaststampers Cupcake reception on Saturday night (They are so much fun!):
What an amazing group of people. I am lucky to have had the opportunity to meet so many of my stamping friends in person. I only wish I took more pictures...
I will be back with regular posts soon!
