Blog Candy Time!

The winner of the set is #101: Karen Glandney who wrote "I really enjoy your blog and I get so much for the projects that you make. I don't think that there is anything that comes to my mind that I would like to see besides the beautiful creations that you post here all the time.Have a great weekend :-)

"Want this? "Time Well Spent" is a future level III hostess set that Stampin' Up! sent to all it's demonstrators. How very sweet. Unfortunately, with so many stamps and so little time, I won't have much of an opportunity to use it. So I figured I would pass it along to one of you!!! Find out how you can win it below.

I want to thank you for your sweet comments and emails regarding my family dinner post. I assure you--we continue with the "family meal" for one reason and one reason only---because I do not want a psychologist telling any of my children in ten years that the root of all his/her problems is because we never ate as a family.

So tonight I am giving you my favorite de-stressing technique for handling such difficult days:

1. Decorate bottle=makes me happy!

2. Pull out a wine glass and drink liquid in bottle=makes me forget what made me stressed out in the first place.

3. Ahhhhh!

Note: This post is for humor purposes ONLY. I am not condoning drinking alcoholic beverages nor am I admitting to consuming them myself (hiccup!)

Materials used: wine bottle; Stamps-Gina K Designs (Punchy Words, Festive labels); waterproof labels (available at Gina K. Designs (http://www.ginakdesigns.com/); ink-olive, cranberry, gold, brown; sponge; cardstock-olive, vanilla.
To win this blog candy---just leave a comment on this thread and let me know what you would like to see on this blog. I am just curious what you all like to see and what makes you come back for more (tutorials, cards, altered items, scrapbook pages, articles on how to raise your family, etc!) Be sure to number your entries!!
Here is the bonus, if you are a subscriber, feel free to post twice. If you are not a subscriber, feel free to subscribe and then post twice. Random.Cara will pick the lucky winner on Sunday. Why Sunday?--because there is more blog candy fun coming right after this one!
Have a great day!

Ok, Im going un-numbered since I have this set. But how bout a blog candy of the wine????

My little unwinding tip is similar, but it's my "sleepy time" medicine. I just drift off peacefully and dream on soft pillows!

That bottle is very pretty!

I love reading ur tutorials on SCS..& on ur blog.

I wuld love if u'll give instructions for colouring & step by step procedure.

Most of the items are not available here in India..but if u give their alternatives(if at all they have which we use in daily life) would be gr88 for sumone like me.
I stay in India..& I dont find most of the items..I feel irritated then what to use which might help me in making..!!

It wuld be really helpful for me & I guess for others as well.

Thanx again I wuld luv that set..as I wont be getting it for sure as I cant become a demonstrator as I stay in India...

SU will take hell lot of time to come to india.

Thanx in advance for all those lovely creations u make & share with us.

That blue bottle looks familiar -- maybe 'cause it's the same de-stresser I use!! :)

I have the set also, so don't count my entry -- I just wanted to tell you that I love what you did with the bottle! I have that set and can't wait to use it on some holiday gifts!

Anonymous said...

Good morning. I'm also going un-numbered because I have the set. Good luck to those entering though, because it's super cute!

I'm also not subscribing, but only because I already catch all of your posts through GoogleReader. So, just in case you're wondering how many daily viewers you have, add one more for me.

And in answer to what draws me to your blog, it's the combination of quality cards and personality that comes through, particularly when relating to daily life. I am pretty sarcastic about things (mainly to laugh so I don't feel like crying). I enjoy that spunk I hear coming from you--it makes you more of a person and less of an internet page.

I just discovered your blog by following the link from your CK Monogram Bouquet creation on SCS. I love getting directions for such great projects! :) What a surprise to see you're giving away Time Well Spent! I would LOVE this set. I'm enjoying reading your blog and the post about family dinner made me laugh. I can really relate! :) You have a fun chatty style of writing. As for what I look for on blogs - good photos, closeup detail shots, great design, tutorials, that sort of thing.

I love seeing your card samples and the tutorials are great for sharing the techniques you've done. I'd love to winthis set because I'll never make it to a level 3 - I'm concentrating on trying to use the sets I have before buying more!

#137 As far as I can tell - a lot of people didn't use a number!

I come to have a look at your creations - for example I just looked at your new Gina K baby it's cold outside card.. and wondered - where can I get that? So - I checked your blog! Then, I was hooked into reading further, love the stories about your kids !

Well, maybe if I can manage it, this will post and maybe I can also win some blog candy!! debzi333 from SCS

Hi, I am so totally new at this (blogging) but really enjoy reading yours. Your cards are so creative and I love the colors you choose when using your copics. The bottle is pretty too! The set looks like an awesome one to have!!
