Sketch Challenge Card

Fun news!!! My ornament project was chosen as part of the Holiday Carnival over at Craft Critique. (http://www.craftcritique.com/) Check it out! They are featuring tons of cool projects for the next few days.

Not so fun news: My two submissions were not picked up by Cards Magazine. Boohoo! Back to the drawing board.


Well, I actually did the sketch challenge on SCS today. I haven't had time to do anything lately besides prep for Christmas and my son's birthday. After a crazy wild party last night, I decided I would do a little stamping just for me.

This sketch was fun. I used the layout and just tweaked it a bit (cause I do not follow directions well!)

The images are from My Favorite Things (Winter Blast) http://www.mftstamps.com/. I stamped them and punched them out. The bgs are all embossed using the snowflake embossing folder in the cuttlebug. I added sparkles to the sentiment and snowflakes with my Sakura gellyroll pen. I also added twinkle stickers (a muse) to the snowflakes. The images are colored with Copics and Stickles are enhancing the snow areas.

Lots of sparkle on this...irl!

I just found out that my sweet sister in law lost her father. Keep her and her family in your prayers.
