This set is called, "Dr. Feelgood" and the rumor is true---it is a tribute to my husband who is a physician. So, now I can say to everyone---Wanna Play with my husband? lol!
You may have seen a sneak peek on Gina K's blog a day ago but if not, here is one of the first cards I created with this set!
Here is a different view so you can see that the front side of the card is smaller than the back:
Materials used: Stamps-Dr. Feelgood (by Carolyn King distributed by Gina K Designs); cardstock- white, red; ink- real red, black; white embossing powder; versamark; heat tool; clear button; red cording; white gel pen (SU!); Copic markers; circle punches (SU!); creative memories cutting system.
The set includes 11 stamps and has some cool options for creating backgrounds and adding different elements to the designs. The above card shows three of the stamps in the set (the sentiment, the doctor, the heart).
I will have some more samples during the next few days featuring different ways to use this set as well as blog candy, which I will post tomorrow night to help kick off the release.
Dr. Feelgood includes a few sentiments so that you can create a humorous get well card for a friend, a valentine's day card for a loved one, or a just for fun card when someone needs a little "love."
Gina K Designs will be having her release party in the Gina K forum on Splitcoaststampers (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/) tomorrow night (Saturday) from 7-10 p.m. central time.
Seven new sets will be revealed, including the new "Stamps for a Cause" set, a set by new designer, the amazingly talented Melanie Muenchinger(http://melaniemuenchinger.blogspot.com/) and a set by Gina's own daughter, Alicia!
Hope to see you all there! I will be posting some blog candy tomorrow night to help celebrate!!!
Thanks for all of your support!
