Dedicated to the ONES I LOVE!

I love this card. And this is why: I bought this set from Papertrey mostly because of this sentiment and coordinating images.

The sentiment reads "I love you... to the moon and back again, to infinity and beyond, forever & ever."

I have said this and various other things to all three of my kids at night (almost every night)....varying the expression (I love you to the moon and back, around and around the earth and back again, around the solar system...etc!)

Another favorite song I used to sing with my 11 year old when she was young was "I love you in the morning and in the afternoon, I love you in the evening and underneath the moon...."

And so the concept of this card was born. I wanted to convey CONSTANT and UNRELENTING love (that love you unconditionally give your children and probably no one else!) They are loved in the evening (the dark side of the card with the moon) and all during the day (the white side.) They are loved in winter/fall (the bare branches on one side) and during the spring and summer (the flowered branch on the other side.)

This was so much fun to make and it is dedicated to the ONES I LOVE!

Materials Used: Stamps-Out on a Limb (Papertrey Ink.), ink-choc chip, black, pink; cardstock-white, black, American Crafts decorative paper; white embossing powder; slit punch (SU!); signo gel pen (SU!); versamark; heat tool; cropadile; ribbon (SU!); dimensionals (SU!); white eyelet; Cuttlebug and flower dies.

Fun Stuff:

Gina K Designs will be revealing four new stamp sets on Sunday night. She will be holding a release party on Splitcoaststampers in the forum from 7-9 Central time (8-10 Eastern). Wait until you see these new sets and she is also introducing a FANTASTIC new embellishment....loooovveeee it.

She will begin sneak peeks on her blog tomorrow (Friday). Check it out here. (If you head over there today, she has an excellent tutorial on photographing your cards...I learned so much!)

Congrats to my friend Becky Oehlers who was named a new designer on the Papertrey Ink team. Yeah Becky! You ROCK!

Thanks for stopping by!

Your card is beautiful!!! I just got a little teary thinking about that sentiment -- it reminds me of all the wonderful little books I've read to my kids over the years (Guess How Much I Love You, I Love You Forever, etc.). And, we sing that song with our kids, too!
