Today, I thought I would give you some "tame" cards using some of the "Twisted Sentiments." (What can I say, I am a wimp....but if I got a call from my mom because I said "Craphead" on here you can just imagine what would happen if I put a card on here that said "Better than Sex?") See mom, I'm a good girl, I am!
The first card was for the sketch challenge on Splitcoastampers. I used "Meet Me at the Cafe" along with a "Twisted Sentiments" phrase. This sentiment was MADE for this set! I stamped the awning on red designer paper (that matches the rest of the paper) and poped it up a bit so it looks like it is overhanging the window.
Materials used: "Meet Me at the Cafe" "Twisted Sentiments" (My Favorite Things); ink-black; Copic markers; cardstock-red, white, Cosmo Cricket Dutch Girl dp; scalloped punch (SU!); circle punch (SU!); ribbon (May Arts); brads (the Paper Studio); dimensionals (SU!).The next card is literally a 10 minute card. I used "You Take the Cake" along with a sentiment from the new set. I added gel pen dots around the scalloped border to make the scallops stand out more. A few olive brads on the cake help to add some texture to the design.
