Are You Ready for a Preview???

Well, the time has come...I can finally show you a little preview of my new set called "Framed Flowers," which will be released TOMORROW NIGHT by Gina K Designs!

For all those of you who guessed that my new set had flowers or had to do with Mother's Day.....You were correct!

The concept of this set is simple. I wanted a quick go-to set that I could use to create classy cards. The sentiments in the set enable you to create sympathy cards, birthday cards, thank you cards, friendship cards and even Mother's Day cards. The set features a frame (hence the title) and three different flower groups that can be used within the frame. The frame shape coordinates with the rectangle Nestabilities which make it super easy to punch out additional mats.

All the flower images are silhouetted to make coloring and stamping the images FAST and easy!

There is a grass stamp that can be used inside the frame. And, there are tiny flower images that are the same as the larger images, which can be used for tags, envelopes, jewelry or even to add in a flower garden created with the larger stamps.

Here is a sneak peek at one project I have created with this set! (Tomorrow I will show you a card created with the frame and grass images!)

This is an altered altoid tin...I created a belly band with one of the flower images from the new set. I used my oval Nestability scallops to create the frame. The band slides off the tin to open it.

Here is a photo of the inside of the tin. The Happy Birthday greeting is one of the sentiments in the set (These sentiments also coordinate with the sentiments in Gina's "Free with Three" set this month, which adds even more ways to use this set!)

I created the necklace using the matching small flower that matches the one I used on the belly band. (Martha Stewart has a necklace kit intended for photos, I just used a stamped image instead!)

Here is a close up of the necklace:

Materials used: Framed Flowers (Carolyn King Designs distributed by Gina K Designs); ink-ruby red, old olive, choc chip markers (SU!); cardstock-celery, choc chip (SU!); designer paper-Lily Kate by Basic Grey; Cuttlebug and nestability dies; Sakura stardust gellyroll pen; dimensionals (SU!); hemp (SU!); ribbon (SU!); altoid tin (Gina K Designs); Martha Stewart memory necklace.

This gift took about 25 minutes to create! That is the point of this set--quick but cute cards and projects!

I hope you enjoyed this sneak peek. Check out Gina K's blog tonight for another preview of this set.

"Framed Flowers" and four other fantastic sets plus lots of fun new embellishments will be available for purchase tomorrow night (Monday, March 10!) following the Gina K Designs new release party on Splitcoaststampers in the Gina K forum from 7-9 p.m. central time. Join us for contests and games and lots of prizes!
