Happy and SAD

What an exhausting two days---yesterday we had a few showings so I was in and out of the house a lot--no stamping done.

HAPPY: Today we got an offer on the house--woohoo!!! Fingers crossed that it works out.....I was on the phone with the realtor MANY times today while....lugging my three kids to the sports store, Walmart, Various ball fields, etc....YIPES!

SAD: Funny thing is that now that we have someone interested in the house, it is hitting me that I will be leaving the home that I LOVE and my WONDERFUL family of friends that have made this assignment such a blessing....

I WILL have something to share with you tomorrow.
In addition to that good news I got some very happy mail today--more about that later and a publication project acceptance (that I didn't even submit! Whoot!)

FUN Stuff:
My Favorite Things will be releasing two new adorable sets on Wednesday, April 2nd. I will have some MFTeasers of these starting on Monday and more deets about the release party that will be on Wednesday night on Splitcoaststampers!

For a great tutorial on using Nestabilities in your cuttlebug machine and to enter to win a FREE set of Nestabilities check out this post on Gina K's blog!

Thanks for hanging in there--busy times!!!

I can TOTALLY relate...we just moved two months ago. It has been soooo hard....much harder than I thought it would be. We moved back to our "hometown" so I thought it would be so simple...but leaving the home that I had brought all three of my children home to, the home that I had worked so hard to get the way I liked it, and all the friends that had become like family was very difficult, and still is. :( I know it will get easier, but it sure doesn't feel that way right now.

Why are you moving? Are you moving far from where you live now?

Anyway, I hope the offer works out for you and your family!

You always have mixed feelings when you move. Your happy to start anew somewhere else & meet new friends, but its hard to leave the friends you did make behind. Some you will keep in touch with through out the years. Look on the bright side...we'll always be here! We're moving with you & you can tell us all about your new surroundings! Good luck with your offer & I hope everything works out the way you want.

Hugs
Rita

Hi Carolyn! I hope that this offer goes through for you all! It's always exciting and sad at the same time. I am not sure why you are moving. Are you moving to a completely different city or town? That is always a little harder. Although when you are in the same town and drive by your old house...it brings back memories too.
congrats on being published too!!

Hi Cammie! I hope the moving process goes easy for you guys. For us everytime we get a new assigment it is hard because like you I don't like leaving my friends. My hardest move was this last one (from Germany to Miami) I am still dealing with it because I miss my friends terribly. As you know it will pass and you will make new friends. I will have you in my prayers. Hugs!

Good luck with the offer! Moving is tough (says the girl halfway across the country from "home"). My family has changed quite a bit, including my mother moving, and my parents are in the process of getting their house ready to sell. My childhood home. I have realized, however, that there are amazing people everywhere. You don't lose people by moving, you just get to meet new ones! Plus home really is where the people you love are. The memories will come with you and you get a whole new chance to make new memories.
But saying goodbye is hard.

Sounds like you've had a busy day and an emotional one too! Isn't it tough to say goodbye to folks you've grown close to? I guess it gives us an opportuinty to get to know other wonderful people. Best wishes with your move!

Congrats girlie on the potential sale. I'll say a prayer that it goes through. I know how stressful selling a home is. That's tough! I'm sure you've said this before... but where are you headed??
