Do You Dig It?

Here is a peek at the other new set that My Favorite Things is releasing tomorrow night after the release party on Splitcoaststampers from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time!

I used a little paper machie hanging bag that I found on clearance at a Holiday shop for like $10 (because they were all messed up and ripped!) Well, I fixed it up and decided that it would be the perfect presentation for a little gift of seeds. I used the "Can Ya Dig It?" set and altered the container. Seed packets fit nicely inside. I love the sentiment "Love Grows" for this.

The gardening girl was stamped. I paper pieced the dress with designer paper and colored the rest of her with Prismacolor pencils. I added ribbon and a prima to the hat and a velvet flower over the stamped flower in the pot. I just love all the fun accessories in this set!

The grass stamp is from Framed Flowers (Gina K Designs). I just inked it in certainly celery and stamped it and cut it out.

This little holder can hang nicely over a door knob of a neighbor's house...fill it with little cards or seeds---what a fun little surprise this would be!

Materials used: Stamps-Can Ya Dig It? (My Favorite Things), grass stamp-Framed Flowers (Carolyn King distributed by Gina K Designs); ink-black, celery, olive, choc chip (SU!); Prismacolor pencils; prima; brad (SU!); velvet flower (Making Memories); ribbon (May Arts); horizontal punch (SU!); Cuttlebug and Nestabilities; dimensionals; white signo gel pen (SU!); hemp (SU!).

Thanks for stopping by!

This is such a great project! And after seeing it I am starting to think this set might be on my "to acquire" list. At the very least my "to be inspired to draw something" list! My mom likes to garden and so do some of her neighbours! Perfect for gifts for her to keep and give!
