I am a bit tired and have about a million things to do so this post is gonna be short! ****I will be sure to post lots of pictures and stuff about the trip this week..so stay tuned.
In the meantime---Here is a MFTeaser featuring the new mini set that will be released by My Favorite Things on Wednesday night (right after the release party on Splitcoast Stampers from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m). Join us for fun, contests, MFTeasers and your chance to be the next My Favorite Guest Designer).
This set is adorable--it is called "Friends Furever." I thought a fun way to showcase the boy hugging his dog was to frame them in a shadow box. (See Shadow box tutorial here.)
I created the shadowbox and cut an extra triangle for the roof. I used my word window punch to create little "shingles" to adhere on top of it.
The images are colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copics.

Your sample is amazing!! One of "mft" is THIN MINT Edy's icecream. It isn't available all year and I am afraid that after I finish the half gallon in my freezer there will be no more until next year. (Luckily I exercise because I eat way too much!!!)

This is such a cool set. Love all the dog stamps that have come out from MFT. I think one of my favorite things is having vacation days, where I don't have to go anywhere, just do the things I love to do like spending time with the kids, cooking, gardening, and crafting.

Happy Anniversary MFT! I'd have to say one of my favorite things is to have big family gatherings when we (hubby, daughter, and I) go home. We're a military family and have missed out on so many family events, little and big, it's nice to have everyone together for a change. My other favorite thing to do is to get together with a girlfriend to stamp:)

What a beautiful card! One of my favorite things... the smell of the rain. I just love it! My best friend was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma 11 years ago. She and I had this thing about the smell of the rain. She was stuck in a hot hospital room. It was the beginning of summer in Santa Cruz, CA. She was having a rough day and all of a sudden it started to rain. I called her from work and told her to open her window and sniff!!! SMELL THE RAIN. She has now been in remission for 10 years. And we still love the smell of the rain.
