Here is another card with the new set from My Favorite Things called "Here's the Scoop." This set will be available on the MFT site TONIGHT after the release party on Splitcoaststampers. I LOVE this set---so many fun stamps!
The ice cream cones were stamped on white cardstock and colored with Copics. I stamped the scoops on pieces of the Cupcake designer paper by Basic Grey and cut them out. I added some shading with my Copics.
Finally, I faux stiched around the main image. Simply Sweet!
Materials used: Stamps-Here's the Scoop (My Favorite Things); ink-brilliance black; real red (Stampin' Up!); Copics; cardstock-white, olive (Stampin' Up!); Designer paper-Cupcake! (Basic Grey); circle punch (SU!); olive brads (SU!); ribbon (Oriental trading); Nestability dies-petite ovals (Spellbinders); slider dies (Provocraft); Cuttlebug (Provocraft); paper piercing tool and mat pack (SU!); Dimensionals (SU!).Don't forget: My Favorite Things will be holding their release party TONIGHT *WEDNESDAY* on Splitcoaststampers from 9-11 p.m. EASTERN time. I LOVE this set! And that card is so cute! Great idea to use the paper as scoops and just shade with your markers! Much quicker card that way! I can't wait to see everything tonight!
