Back from Outer Space....

Hi all--I am back in Texas (finally!) We arrived home late last night (well, actually it was this morning--due to delays..ugh!)

Besides the fact that we were away for a month---we arrived home to a house that is half unpacked and lots of other fun things to deal with: sprinkler system going haywire; brand new dishwasher not working; hot water not working in half of the house (!!); my digital camera was somehow damaged and the display is all black and cracked....but being the kook that I am--I was still determined to take a picture of the card I made today.

I aimed and shot (took about 5 pictures!) and luckily I had one that showed the whole card. lol!

Looks like I am going camera shopping soon....Until then, expect some wonky pictures!

Here is a card I created for a challenge I do with my CCEE group. The challenge this week was to create a clear (acetate) card that had to be funny. Check out the CCEE blog (on Monday)to see the other cards and to play along!

I chose this new set called Totally Witchin' by My Favorite Things for the card. The designer paper is from Pinecone Press. Look for the fun new ribbon on the MFT site with the new release Wednesday night!

I love this image---reminds me of my friend Carole and I (she, of course, being the one with the thicker calves and beating innocent little me with the broom! Sniff, sniff!)

Such a fun Halloween image--I am sure I will be using this one lots! I love the sentiment too!

Materials used: Stamps-Totally Witchin' (My Favorite Things); Brilliance black ink; Acetate sheet; cardstock-white, black; designer paper-Pinecone Press; ribbon (coming soon to MFT site!); silver eyelets (SU!); Cropadile; Copic markers; oval punches and word window punch (SU!); dimensionals (SU!); white gel pen (Ranger).

*****My Favorite Things is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, August 6 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time. This month there are FIVE new sets being released and some great new ribbon added to the store. *The Girl Who Wants It All* special for the the August Collection, which is one of each set being released, is $65. Head over to the MFT forum on Splitcoaststampers to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. We hope to see you there on Wednesday night.*****

Thanks for stopping by!
