MFTeaser #2

Hi Everyone! I am back with another MFTeaser to share with you. This time I used a set called "We're Not Scared." Isn't he cute?

I paper pieced my scarecrow's shirt because I loved that dp and thought it resembled a fun plaid design. For fun, I added some raffia out his collar and sleeves to make him look more realistic (even tho scarecrows aren't real anyway?!).

I added part of a sentiment from a old MFT set called "Falling for You" and added some more raffia for the embellishing!
Here is a close up of the scarecrow---can you see the hay (ahem, raffia?)

Materials used: We're Not Scared, Falling for You (My Favorite Things); cardstock-choc chip, vanilla (Stampin' Up!); Designer paper-My Mind's Eye; raffia; Copic Markers; Spellbinders Nestability dies; Cuttlebug (Provocraft); Scor-Pal; jumbo eyelet (SU!); Cropadile; dimensionals (SU!); circle punch (SU!); paper piercing tool and template.

My Favorite Things is having a New Release Cocktail Party on Wednesday, Sept. 3 from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time. This month there are SIX new sets being released, plus one from a new line at MFT: BCDzyns.*The Girl Who Wants It All special for the The September Collection, which is one of each set being released (except for the BCDzyns set) is $58.95.
Head over to the MFT forum to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer. We hope to see you there on Wednesday night.

Also, at midnight tonight the sneak peeks for the newest Gina K Designs sets will begin. Check out Gina's blog (after midnight) to hop on the blog express and see what the awesome designers did with the first (of many!) new sets! Gina K Designs will host a release party from 7-10 p.m. CENTRAL on Friday night on Splitcoaststampers.

Thanks for stopping by!
