Gina K Designs Preview Day 3

Today, I am happy to share my sample using two of the new sets (by my friend Melanie!) that will be released by Gina K Designs TONIGHT! This month she designed a floral set that will knock your socks off. It is called A Year of Flowers. To go with it, she is releasing a sentiment set called Say It With Flowers, filled with words and phrases that work beautifully with the flowers!

Here is the card I created for tonight:

I really wanted her gorgeous flowers to be center stage so I made the card very muted...using whites and gold for most of the design. To mimic the cloisonne look, I stamped the flowers on watercolor paper and embossed them in gold. Then I watercolored the flowers and attached them to the card.

I think the light background forces your eyes to those gorgeous flowers....Awesome Mel!
