MFT Release TONIGHT and Gina K Preview Day 2

Double duty today!

First, I want to share with you a new set from My Favorite Things that will be released TONIGHT after the release party from 9-11 p.m. Eastern time. This month there are SIX new sets being released, plus a new storage system for your MFT stamps that you are gonna love!Head over to the MFT forum to find out all the details and to find out how YOU can be the next MFT Guest Designer.

For this project, I used a new image by Stephanie Fizer called Peppermint Cats.

Instead of using it as it was---I cut out the kittens after I stamped them (and cut out the tails that were dangling down) and then reattached them to create this ornament. I used some liquid applique for the snow on the bottom. The little hearts are punched out of gold cardstock and are adhered to the background and also to the top of the tin.

I used my cropadile to attach the ribbon and added one more star to the top to carry along the star theme.
The cats are popped out on dimensionals so there is a lot of depth to the inside scene.

Materials used: Stamps-Peppermint Cats (Stephanie Fizer for MFT Presents); Copic markers; cardstock-white, red, brushed gold (SU!); Cropadile; tin; ribbon (Stampin' Up!); liquid applique; larger star punches (SU!); tiny star punch; gold brad (SU!); dimensionals (SU!).

And here is the new set from Gina K Designs called Winter Foliage. It is the Free with Three set (you get this free this month when you purchase three other sets). I love the images in this set and chose to make a circular chipboard tag for my first project.

I also used some of the new luxurious ribbon that will be available on Thursday as well.

Here is a close up of the tag. I added snow glitter all over the pine cones after I stamped them and clear embossed them. They have a lot of sparkle in real life.

Gina will be releasing the new sets after the release party HERE on Thursday night from 7-10 p.m. (central time). Hope you can join us for some games, prizes and more peeks at the new sets and new embellishments that will be added to the store!

Materials used: Winter Foliage (Gina K Designs); Circle chipboard tag (Stampin' Up!); ribbon (Gina K Designs); ink- choc chip, close to cocoa, old olive, riding hood red (Stampin' Up); clear embossing powder; Versamark; Heat tool; glitter (Dollar Store); liquid glue pen; jumbo eyelet (SU!); sponge; silver cord (stampin' Up!).
