I created this card using the Ben Paper Dolls set:
I so adore this set (as I have said before!)....I am having so much fun making boy cards. (And my son, Ben, is loving helping me!)
I stamped Ben and colored him and then stamped his pirate outfit and colored that and placed it on top of the boy. I used the adorable bird stamp from the set to perch on top of the treasure boat (a Quic Kutz die).
I stitched the little path with some embroidery floss and added a die cut X to mark the treasure.
The sentiment is from Going Places (MFT).
Materials used: Stamps-Ben Paper Dolls, Going Places (My Favorite Things), Weathered (SU!); ink-memento tuxedo black, olive, choc chip (Stampin' Up!), Vintage Photo distress ink (Ranger); cardstock-red, caramel, blue, chocolate chip (SU!), white - Pure luxury (Gina k Designs); Copic markers; hemp (SU!); treasure boat (Quic Kutz); Cuttlebug tag die; Cuttlebug (Provocraft); corner rounder punch (Creative Memories); Cropadile.
