I paper pieced the sail to keep the feel patriotic. The sentiment is embossed in white on the blue.I love creating ATCs and always forget about them---they are the perfect project when you don't have much time!!!
Speaking of not having much time--I am working hard trying to get ready for TWO birthday parties tomorrow. My oldest (known in blogland as Random.Cara) turns 13 and my youngest, Lauren, turns 4 this week and we are having her party tomorrow as well.
Princesses during the day----teenager sleepover/movie at night.....wish me luck!
(If you don't hear from me for awhile...you know I didn't make it out alive!)

LOVE the patriotic ATC!!! Ughh.... after spending all day with middle school kids AND going back to get MY 7 year old from a slumber party she couldn't handle.... I feel for you!! OMG! When I look at this ATC with it's paper pieced sails, I think of my son and his first sailboat. He was 19 and it had sails that look so much like this. I could see him sailing anywhere because of those fabulous sails! BTW, I love this! Kheila
