For Mom!

Hi Everyone! Happy Sunday!
I am posting my CCEE challenge card a bit early as I have another post scheduled for tomorrow! Since it is a new month--there is a new CCEE challenge hostess! Our challenge hostess for May is Deb Mills. For this week's challenge, Deb decided that it was a good time to make a Mother's Day card. Easy enough!

Here is my Mother's Day card:
I used Botanical Dreams (illustrated by Asela Hopkins) from Gina K Designs as the main image. The sentiment is from the new Not Forgotten set, also from Gina K. I colored the image with Copic markers, cut it out and popped it on the matted piece. I thought this image went perfectly with this designer paper from GCD Studios.

You can check out all the other CCEE cards on our blog HERE *on Monday! Hope you will play along!

Materials used: Botanical Dreams, Not Forgotten (Gina K Designs); Memento tuxedo black ink; copic markers; brad (SU!); white cardstock - Pure Luxury (Gina K Designs); Designer paper Vines and Flowers, Rose Colored Glasses Collection (GCK Studios); ribbon (May Arts); Cuttlebug tag die (Provocraft); Cuttlebug (Provocraft); paper piercing tool, mat pack (SU!); foam mounting squares.

This week:
My Favorite Things has a new release AND it is a special anniversary for me.....Two years designing for MFT! Wow...time flies. You know there is gonna be something special to celebrate...hmmmm......

In the meantime, you can enter to win all the new stamps in this release. MFT is changing up its monthly guest designer contest. Starting with this next release (which is this coming Wednesday, May 6), the contest will be announced on the Saturday prior. Deadline for entries is 11 pm on the Tuesday before the new release, so for this month, that's THIS Tuesday, May 5. The winner will be announced during the release party on the 6th! Here is what you win this month: The entire One Click Collection of newly released stamps, a $51.90 value!

Ready to play???? May's theme is :
Girls Day In - celebrating all the women we love and all the women who deserve to feel pampered and beautiful! Full participation details can be found HERE. (Use keyword MFTOCC0509.)

Also, this week....lots of JustRite goodness! Stay tuned....
