If Tomorrow Never Comes...

Check out the lovely note my son, Ben (6), left for me on my bed:

In case you are having trouble reading the scan it says:
If
Tomro
neve
came
wold
you
No
how
much
I love you

Be still my heart! That boy has a way of melting my heart just when he needs me to be melted. (And for those of you who think I should get him under a song writing contract--just thank Garth Brooks, these are lyrics to his song "If Tomorrow Never Comes." Apparently, I play that song a lot....!)

Just wanted to share! Remember to let the ones you love know how much YOU love them :)

Thanks for stopping by!

Well there goes, my eye makeup, good thing it is about time for bed anyway. Cammie, boys are the most precious things. I go back to those days when they were all little in my heart on a daily basis. Like you said, make sure and tell them!!

Cammie

That is so very precious. Those are the memories that you will relive over and over throughout the years. My nephew lived with me 2 different times when he was young (7 months, and again at 1 1/2 or so) when my sister was assigned elsewhere for military duty. The memories of some of the things he said and did continue to bring big smiles when I think of them or share them with others (and he's 25 now). You've got a special little guy there!

Your son has stolen and run away with my heart, Cammie. I'm so glad you shared this treasure with us.

You need to scrap/embellish it and then frame it for your studio!

Awww this is so cute, and oh so true!

I lost my brother recently, and I was fortunate to say I loved him on the phone while I was driving home from seeing him for a few minutes! He was only 33 and wasn't sick like that would of killed him..

Wow Cammie, even if he stole the lyrics, the fact that he knew the context is so sweeeeeet! Sometimes it takes a 6 year old to put us back into perspective!!!! Thanks for sharing this personal moment. We have been having a rought week, and that was a timely reminder! Please tell me that note is going to be "scrapped", to be shown at a wedding day years from now!!!!
