Biggest Loser!!

Sorry for the extra post today....just found out about this and wanted to post it before I forgot!

Yep, I think I am the only person who blogs about losing contests. (The truth is---I think it is good for readers to know the GOOD and the BAD!)

Remember these:

They are the projects I entered into the Spellbinders Pendant Contest. Well....neither of them placed in the top five (or top eight for that matter as they also listed a few honorable mentions!) Big bummer---I actually thought the crown had a chance.
So.....after the design team rejection and now this----I am pretty much thinking that Spellbinders just does not like my style. lol!
You can check out the beautiful winning projects HERE! Seriously, everyone who entered the contest did a fantastic job!
and.......I STILL love the crown!
Today's lesson in life: Believe in yourself, that is ALL that matters! (Some free dies would have been nice, though!)

Thanks for stopping by!

You're still a winner to me! I thought for sure your crown would be picked b/c it is clever, imaginative and funky! Thanks for sharing the downs too ;o)

Those are not loser projects, Cammie! They are both great projects and I like them better than some of the winners. Very subjective opinions. LOL! I've always wanted to be on a design team and have tried several times but have never been picked. Their loss.

I took a look at the winners and 3 were wonderful...I think your "princess" is worthy to be in that top 5!!!!!

Well, I checked out the winners, and for a couple of them, I said, "really?" in my head, (the way a 14 y/o girl would say it). I still love your projects. Thanks for sharing your news.

I was in the same boat! I submitted three projects and didn't make the top 8 either! I will be posting my losing creations soon too...I still like them even if Spellbinders didn't! Same goes for you...your stuff is great...don't let anybody tell you different!

I think it is awesome that you share both the good and the bad. It helps remind everyone that we all get rejected. It still sucks though so sorry to hear it. I personally think your crown is incredible!! xx

I REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR HONESTY! MOST OF THE TIME I FIND YOUR CREATIONS UNIQUE AND REALLY LOVELY. BECAUSE OF YOUR INTEGRITY, CAMMIE, YOU HELP THE REST OF US KEEP OUR CHINS (IN MY CASE PLURAL!!) UP AND PERSEVERE IN SPITE OF REJECTION! YOU'RE CORRECT, THOUGH - FREEBIES ALWAYS MAKE ME FEEL GREAT!!

You go Cammie, you're a winner to me. I loved the crown, and I think it should have placed, for sure. Don't let it get you down - I've not even been brave enough to submit anything to anywhere...You're fantastic, and you give me lots of motivation and smiles...
