Gina K Preview - Organize It!

Hello! Tonight the Gina K team is previewing the newest Stamp TV kit: Organize It! The kit this month has 2 stamp sets (like always), 24 sheets of heavy base cardstock, an assortment of brads, ivory sateen flowers and 12 yards of a variety of ribbons @ 5/8" and 3/8" widths.---everything you need to create stunning projects that will help you keep everything organized. There will be a video on StampTV tomorrow to show all the kit contents. All of the new sets you are seeing during the previews will be released on Thursday night at 10 p.m. central!

For my project today, I used the Organize It! stamps to create a paper and pen set that can fit in my purse. (I got that idea from Lisa Johnson who created a fold over pad for her purse a few months ago!)

I created a little folder for my mini legal pad (purchased at Office Max....they will even cut the pads right in half for you so you will be all set to alter them.)

Here is the front of the pad:
I used some October Afternoon Report Card designer paper to help me cover the front and used some the fun stamps in the kit to embellish.

I created a matching pen for the pad using the same designer paper inserted into a Pentel R.S.V.P pen and also created a little pen holder along the side to keep the pen attached to the pad. (The holder is just some heavy weight onyx cardstock scored with my Scor-Pal and attached to the underside of the pad. Easy!)

Here is the inside of the notepad:
Again, I used my stamps to embellish. I used the little rectangle frame in the set to create a pocket for receipts. You could also decorate the inside flap with some photos of your children and grandchildren!

To see more projects made with the new StampTV kit, check out these blogs:

Then, tune in to the newest StampTV video available tomorrow morning at StampTV as Gina will be sharing a special project she made with the new kit too!

Thanks for stopping by!

I love making these notepad covers, but I've never seen the idea of scoring the cardstock to make a holder for the pen. I've used ribbon, but I like this idea. Thanks for sharing.
