Feeling Crabby?

....You are not alone! I have been in a bit of a funk the past few days. It is probably because:
I registered my baby for kindergarten (sob!),
The same soon-to-be-kindergartner vomited in my new car on the way to school on Wednesday,
We have had a few interrupted nights with some lingering coughs,
I have been battling a bit of a sore throat/ cold all week,
I just found out that my son didn't get into the Gifted and Talented program at school (although he is definitely bright enough!),
and a few other things.....

But, I know that I am very blessed AND that the sun will come up tomorrow! And if this fella can't put a smile on my face, I don't know what will:

I used the Quite a Catch stamp set from Gina K Designs to create this chipper card. I paired it with some Snorkel (Cosmo Cricket) designer paper. **For a limited time, this stamp set comes with a FREE card kit by design team member, Jessica Fick!

If you want to see some more fantastic designs with this ADORABLE set, head on over to Gina's blog for a list of designers who are posting with this set tonight!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Don't forget to.......SMILE!

Cammie - Love you card. And you've definitely got good cause to be crabby ~ I'm blaming my case on exhaustion...so I may just have to get this set and put it to good use. The sun will continue to shine...and lots of good things are just around the corner.

This is so cute Carolyn! Love that cute little crab and it looks great with this Cosmo Cricket dp. Nice design! Been a crabby few days here too, but hey it's Friday, it has to get better!

Your card is just adorable. That crab is a real cutie patootie! Thanks for sharing! Okay, girl, it's Friday - outa that funk! No funkiness allowed on weekends. I will be thinking about you and your family - hope things get better for you! My DD was in a gifted program through elementary school. While it was an amazing learning experience for her, it also created a barrier for her socially. She was 'different' than the other girls. Just remember that all things happen for a reason! Big hugs, dear friend to you and your son!

Carolyn, you just always amaze me with your ability to create such wonderful scenes with seemingly simple elements. The effect is fabulous. I hope you are feeling better. {{{hugs}}}

Gorgeous my friend... just gorgeous. He's so cute how can you not be smiling and happy?! I feel your sadness with the GT program. My son may not get to go back to Prep Academy because his teacher refuses to help him after school. He is so distraught we got him private tutoring (at a *choke* nice price!) but... he's only 3 points away from getting back in. All he can do is his best, I told him. Always an upside... just remember that. *smile*

Sorry to hear about all your "not-so-good" events:( But, this is an awesome card with an awesome message, so SMILE! and thanks for a great card.

Your use of design papers in your scenes is just fabulous! I really need to get out of my little box in that area!!
As far as the other yucks....cheer up girly!! Maybe your son didn't make GATE so that he won't have the extra pressure (and more time to be a kiddo)....the throwing up ends...the smell eventually goes away (hehe) and the icks hopefully will go away once the allergy/spring cold season blooms into summer.
And with that, I'm going to put a smile on my face and tackle my day!!

Super cute card! Don't worry to much about your son's placement. As long as he isn't super bored, it all works out over the years, let him be a kid. ;-] **wink & smile**
