Last week, the Gina K Design team hosted an Oldies week---where they revisited older stamp sets. Since I was on vacation...I missed it. But when I was doing some blog housekeeping...I found this card I never posted.
I created this with Melanie's A Year of Leaves set (Gina K Designs). I coupled the leaves with some Recollections Autumn designer paper (Michael's): The leaves are stamped and colored with Copic markers. Then, I layered a piece of vellum over the leaves and stitched the edges. I added some fun ribbon and a tulle tie to get lots of texture into this card.
I stamped the sentiment and then punched it out with an oval punch and layered it over the ribbon.
Thanks for stopping by!

Cute card; love your new profile pic - too, too cute!!
Thanks for sharing (stealing...I mean borrowing) your CHA pictures; fun to see everyone!
Great card, Cammie. Love the thought of fall as we have an excessive heat warning today for the umpteenth day. It's been a hot summer. Your fall colors and lovely ribbon make me dream of cooler temps. Have a great day!
love the effect of the vellum over the leaves!
Great fall card Carolyn. I like the vellum and your stitching. Hope vacation is going good.
So cool! Love the vellum over the leaves! :) And the tulle is so fun as well!
So pretty! The vellum of the leaves is wonderful, as is the tulle! I commented on your awesome photos, too. I especially loved the goofy one of you and Carole! LOL!
Very pretty!! I love vellum overlays!
This is beautiful. I love the idea of sewing vellum over something. I don't use vellum alot because I was never sure how to attach it. I am definitely going to try this!!
Such a stunning card and the overlay vellum is just the perfect touch - love it!!!
