We had SNOW yesterday in central Texas. The schools closed for the less-than-an-inch accumulation and the kids had a blast sledding, tubing and just playing in the white stuff they never get to see!
Sadly, it is pretty much gone today. Here is one of my favorite pictures:
Lauren sledding with a neighbor. I love the look of joy on her face.

Have a wonderful day!
Thanks for stopping by!

Thank you so much for the blog candy.I live on Cape Cod, MA. We have had one snowstorm after another.Last night the temps shot up and we had heavy rain, winds, and even thunder and lightning. Lots of melting today with promises of cold returning and, of course, more snow!

We just got 10-12 inches in the last 24 hours in southwest Denver. Last week the kids missed 2 days of school because the temperatures didn't get above zero. The weather people are calling for more arctic cold this coming week and more snow.

Thanks for asking!

Wonderful Blog Candy. The weather on Vancouver Island in Canada is wet and rainy, but not cold. The sun is supposed to shine on Monday with a chance of rain.

Hi Cammie! Our weather has been crazy! Yesterday rainy raw and cold! Today is 56 and sunny!! Then later this week they are calling for snow! Oh I live in NC! Love reading your blog!

It is overcast right now, with a chance of rain or sunshine. I think it can go either way today but it will probably rain. Typical NW weather.

Hi

Great blog candy! Our weather was pretty good today. But we've got a chance of snow/showers this week. I'm so tired of wet stuff! :)

Gizgad said...

Subscriber so commenting again. Our ground is soggy from all the snow & rain we've had this year. I don't think the weather people got it right when they said we'd have a dry & warmer than normal winter. :) I'm ready for spring!

It is a veritable Winter Wonderland here... and all 8 inches have fallen in about 8 hours! It's not cold at all though, so it will probably melt by tomorrow (with any luck!) Thank you so much for the chance to win the great blog candy!

Well tomorrow the windchill is back down to -29c, blowing snow, and just plain old COLD COLD COLD! We never seem to get a break.

Great candy! We got hit with 17" of snow the other day and then it snowed again today. I love summer & fall but not too big on winter. The winters are just too long!

I hate to be a bragger but it's glorious here! It's been sunny and warm and the kids have been able to play outside. It's been a nice break from all the cold.

Hi Cammie!
It's about minus 4 degrees F here in Edmonton, AB. Sunny today, so not too bad. Adorable photo of Lauren! Thank you for the chance to win!

Hi again!
Second entry! Thanks again! :)

Snow!!! I've been reading about all the snow every where. Here in Southern California it was only 81 degrees today yet it was pretty cold a week ago, only in the low 60’s and snow in the high desert areas and just a few days ago we all had from 50 to 65 MPH winds. That’s Sunny Southern California!!!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter your drawing. Boy, I’d sure love to win those goodies….

I live in Norwich Ontario Canada.
We got clobbered last Wednesday, but nothing compared to the blizzard that hit us on Saturday unexpectly and no warnings. My daughters and l took a day trip to London Ontario to check out scrapbook stores and to spend the day together. This drive is normally a 45 minute drive for us.
We were in the store when all of sudden it was snowing and blowing so bad that we couldn't see anything outside. We decided we had better head home. My one daughter is a 2 hour drive away from us.
We departed. It took us 2 1/2 hrs to get home. Conditions were so bad that there was no visiablity, all but for the grace of God, we avoided a bad accident. It was a very stressful drive home.
My other daughters drive home took her 3 1/2 hrs. She had the most amazing event. She skidded really bad and knew that she was probably going to hit the ditch, but just as she was sverving and trying to keep the car from skidding, Carrie Underwood's song "Jesus take the Wheel" came on the radio. My daughter thought Wow, Jesus did take the wheel, as she avoided hitting the ditch and another vehicle that was already in the ditch.
Miracles do happen. So if by chance, you pick me for your blog candy, l will be sharing it with both of my daughter's and you will have brought a big smile to our faces.
Thank you

This morning the weathermen in Ohio are predicting rain. Now as we all know Ohio weather can change quickly so when they say rain you can also count on seeing snow, sleet, sunshine and any other kind of weather with that! I hope your day is sunshiny and bright!
Thanks for the chance at your blog candy. :)

I get to enter twice, so here is an update on our weather here in Minneapolis. It's COLD again - about ten degrees right now, but going to be getting colder! At least it's sunny, though.

Andrea said...

Snowy, snowy, snowy! At least todays temps are comfortable today...high of 30 I think today. Thanks for being so very generous!

Yup I am a subscriber!

I live in Minnesota. The temp is headed below zero again tonight with a predicted low around -11. We have LOTS of snow on the ground this year too. The good this is that with the cold weather comes the sun, something we have lacking lately is sunlight. Strange as it may sound I can't wait for the cold, bring on the sun baby!

I live in central Massachusetts according to the GPS. However, it looks and feels like Antartica. I am certain I saw penguins in the backyard the other day. We have a solid three feet of snow on the ground. The snowbanks are taller than I am and my poor little Honda is dwarfed by them. I would gladly send some more to you!!

Your pics are adorable. Thanks for the chance to win some candy!!

Great Blog Candy - I live in the UP of Michigan - right now we have light snow showers and a temp of 8 degress above zero (a true heat wave as we are supposed to be below zero the rest of the week).

What great blog candy! We have snow, snow and more snow. Our 5 and 6 foot drifts have settled to about 3 feet. Temps in the teens. Our front circle drive is still now cleaned out after last Wednesday's storm, they have to bring in a payloader. I don't think spring will ever come!

Great stamp give-a-way. The weather in Magnolia, DE is low 40's and sunny with 40 mph winds. In "lower, slower, Delaware we are much milder than our PA neighbors to the north.
Pansy's are in bloom and daffodils are poking their little heads up. Spring is coming.......

Wow! Holy luckiness in Texas closing the schools for less than an inch falling. Ha! Where I am in WI there's no closings and we have well over 15 inches on the ground in any given area. I've seen some pictures indicating up 23 inches in different areas of WI. but it's been rather warm - well not summer warm but warm for WI winters anyhow and so me and my boys have been out sledding quite a bit in the loads of snow we have!

Cammie, you call that snow? Come to Massachusetts! We can't see around snowbanks to get out of our side streets! But yesterday was a 33 degree day -- warm for us, so off with the heavy coats. Today is a snow dusting. Thanks for offering the blog candy -- it looks soooo enticing.

The sun is actually peaking out this morning but last night it sure wasn't very nice out. Four of us went to a stamp class and it was okay when we left but on the way home it was freezing rain, slush and the sanders were out all over. Sure wasn't very nice out but hopefully we get a break today. Have a good one. Hugs n'Stuff, Lynne

I live in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and it is -17 Celsius and with the windchill-27. It is very very cold out there.

songbirdwc said...

it's thawing - finally - which is a good thing, since we have between 30 and 40 inches of snow on the ground which needs to melt. And we won't even talk about the roof :-) It's tough to say because I'm a snow lover, but this winter has been hard on the house.

The weather is nice here and in the mid 50's, however, I would prefer it to be colder and some snow. I think the snow is beautiful, but because I have never lived where it snows alot, I think it would be nice to experience it for awhile. Thanks for the chance to win some candy.

WOW, snow in Texas...We have had so much snow up here in London, Ontario, Canada that the snow banks in front of my house are about 10 feet tall. I've never seen so much snow & they say we are suppose to have a early spring according the groundhog "Willie". I hope you get rid of all your snow as well as I hope ours disappears soon too. P.S. I love your card for Gina.
