Gina K Inspiration Hop Day 1

Welcome to Day 1 of the December Gina K Designs Inspiration Hops.   As you hop through the blogs, make sure to leave a comment on each of them because we will choose a few random comments and those stampers will each win a grab bag of Gina K. Designs products! To see the full list of winners check the Big News Forum at StampTV a few days after the hops.

Today we are sharing projects using Vertical Greetings and It's the Little Things!

My first card showcases the gorgeous poppies from Vertical Greetings paired with a sentiment from the set.  I stamped the poppies, colored them with Copic markers and then cut them out.  I added them to the panel I die cut from patterned paper.  For the base of this card, I stamped the large flourishes from Elegant Flourishes set in Grass Green ink so that I could pop the poppy panel over them.  I stamped the little dragonfly from Vertical Greetings on one flourish using Sweet Corn Ink.

Next, I have a card I shared on the Illustrator hop the other day.  I paired a Vertical Greeting with a smaller flourish from Elegant Flourishes to create this greeting:

For my next card, I used the adorable elephant from It's the Little Things.  So cute!  I stamped the balloon and paper pieced it and then added some white accents.  I stamped the sentiment in black and Red Hot ink. I added a little black rhinestone to his eye to make it more dimensional.

Next, I sat the little fox from It's the Little Things on the large flourish from Elegant Flourishes.  I used a sentiment from Vertical Greetings to finish this card:

That's it for me today---Check out these blogs for some inspiring ideas using these new sets:
Thanks for stopping by!

I don't do a lot of stamping in my cards, but looking at these cards, I may become a convert. They are adorable.

Love your adorable elephant so much that I just noticed he is not colored in! He doesn't need to be. He is perfect as he is. I am bringing him home.

Your flourishes "make" your cards, even surprises with little critters on them! The little elephant gives more inspiration for fun cardmaking. Lots of ideas to spin off on our own cards. TFS!
