Howdy Pardner!

Howdy! I wanted to share with you a cute little bag I created using the new release called "Ride em Cowgirl" from My Favorite Things. Two new sets will be released tomorrow night (Wednesday) after the release party (8-10 p.m. central time) on Splitcoaststampers. Go check out the trivia thread for your chance to win BOTH new releases!

For this bag, I stamped the main image, on white cardstock and on two different pieces of designer paper (Cosmo Cricket-Wanted). I pieced the main image (cut out the parts I wanted from each and layered over the main image on the white cardstock).

I used my Scor-Pal to create an embossed border in the background. The whole front section was assembled and attached to the bag using Scor-Tape (this stuff really keeps it together!)

I used my Stampin' Up! Star punches for different accents. I added a hemp rope in her hands and used darker hemp to braid for the handle. I attached the handle through holes punched in the stars at the top.

Here is a close of of the main image and of the embossing in the background:

Here is a close up of the handle and tag AND the stamped tissue. I used the little star in the set and stamped the image all over the tissue inside the bag. Love how this little detail adds so much to this project.

Materials used: Stamps-Ride em Cowgirl (My Favorite Things); Staz-on timber brown; brilliance black; cardstock-white; designer paper by Cosmo Cricket; Scor-Pal; Scor-Tape; hemp (SU! and Hobby Lobby); star punches (SU!); Prismacolor pencils; bag; brads (The paper Studio); dimensionals (SU!).
Thanks for stopping by!

What an awesome looking bag... can't imagine what you could put in it that could stand up to it, except of course the MFT stamps, themselves!
