Gina K PREVIEW day 3

Today I am previewing the newest set by Melanie for Gina K Designs called Hand in Hand.

This set includes many sets of hands and sentiments that you can use for TONS of occasions--new baby, wedding, friendship, love, etc.

I chose my favorite image/sentiment for my preview:

I LOVE this quote "Children are the hands by which we take hold of heaven."

Although this card is pretty self-explanatory, I will mention that I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers and then stamped the sentiment on translucent paper and created an overlay. It looks very pretty irl...kind of lost a bit of the softness in the photo (oh well!)

Materials used: Stamps-Hand in Hand (Melanie Muenchinger for Gina K Designs); Memento tuxedo black; cardstock- Gina K Pure Luxury-80 lb; gold, black (SU!); Designer paper-Rhonda, Faith (Melissa Frances); ribbon- organza (Offray); ribbon (May Arts); gold brads (SU!); Copic markers; Rectangle and scalloped rectangle Nestability dies (Spellbinders); Cuttlebug (Provocraft); dimensional (SU!).

Wanna win this set??? Check out Melanie's contest on PaperCraft Planet!

You can see more peeks of this set on these amazing blogs:

and, of course, Gina K.

Be sure to stop by the Gina K release party on Thursday, December 11 from 7-10 p.m. CST! There will be more peeks, contests, challenges and chatting!!! Hope to see you there!

**********

Special Thanks to KellyRae for giving me the PROXIMIDADIE! award. This is a particularly poignant award in that it defines the impetus of the awarded blog as relationships rather than self-promotion. These kind bloggers aim to find and be friends. They are not interested in prizes or self-aggrandizement. Our hope is that when the ribbons of these prizes are cut, even more friendships are propagated.
Although it asks you to pass this along---there are WAY too may people out there who are wonderful stampers AND people. So, I pass it along to all of you---take a minute to find a blog on my blogroll that you haven't visited before and ENJOY! It really touched my heart that you thought of me for this KellyRae! THANK YOU!

See you tomorrow with the last Preview!
Thanks for stopping by!
