MFT- Happy Occasions PREVIEW

My Favorite Things (http://www.mftstamps.com/) is releasing THREE new sets tomorrow night (Wednesday). Please join us for the release party on Splitcoaststampers (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/) in the MFT forum from 9-11 p.m. EASTERN time for fun, contests and your chance to be the next My Favorite Designer!

Tonight I want to share some cards with you that feature Happy Occasions. This set includes tons of stamps to make cards for events all year long. Although I did not feature every occasion, I did select a few to show you the endless possibilities.

I created a cute little gift box for the cards to show you how this set would be the cutest Valentine's Day OR Birthday gift ever.

I packaged all of the cute cards you will see below in a clear box and added a braided hemp handle. I used my Cropadile to punch the smallest hole in the top of the box on either side to pull the braid through and tie on the INSIDE! Then I added the little tag (which is created by folding over a Nestability rectangle!) Fun ribbon ties complete the gift. (OH, and who could forget a little chocolate??)

For the cards inside, I used the same sketch for each card and kept the design very simple to show you that a cute card using this set is SO SIMPLE!

Here is a Mother's Day card:

Here is a Father's Day card:

To make the designs even easier, you can use the Marvy punches to make the frames soo easy to use. (I just had a duh! moment!)

Materials used: Stamps-Happy Occasions by My Favorite Things; ink-olive, red, black, chocolate, bayau blue, turquoise, orange; cardstock-vanilla, white, red, SU! designer paper; Cropadile; eyelet; silver cord; ribbon (SU! and Offray); slit punch (SU!); dimensionals (SU!); clear box (Clear Boxes); hemp; Nestability Dies; Buttons (random and SU!); Stickles-gold, Christmas red; Olive brads (SU!); Clear buttons (SU!); decorative brad; prima flower; pop dots.
