A Questionable Gift and CCEE Name Challenge

My husband just returned last night from a medical mission to Honduras. He went to assist a team of urologists who were doing humanitarian work sponsored by the Army.

He was gone for a couple of LONG weeks and we are so happy to have him back. Although I typically do not write about his work, deployments, etc. (because I do not ever want to compromise the safety of him, his team or my family)....but.....since he is home now---I had to show you the special gift he brought me (remember this was a urology medical mission!):

I could not stop laughing when I unwrapped this! Thought you guys might appreciate the humor. (Well, I know my friend Carole will--bet she might even want to borrow it! SNORT!) Now, I have to figure out where I should display it!?
OK...how about a card?! It is time again for the zany challenge with my CCEE friends on Splitcoaststampers. Once a month we "honor" another SCS member--picking a funny or interesting sign-on name to play around with and then sending her (or him) the cards.
This week we selected Butterfly Ears. I heard it through the grapevine (Mothermark!)--she used this name because of her dog's ears in her avatar look like butterflies. So....one of the loco rule makers in our group (see itallic name above!) decided we had to make a card with two butterflies on it and four paws. (@#$!@)

But.....I figured out how to use these rules to my advantage (I used Kangaroo paws!) I thought this set drawn by my friend Melanie for Gina K Designs would be perfect for this challenge.

The main image is stamped and colored with prismacolor pencils and I used my new H2Os that I was enabled to buy by the ultra talented Ila (check our her work--she is amazing!)
I am still learning but it is fun trying to use them anyway!
Materials used: Stamps-Just so Hoppy (Gina K Designs); ink-black; cardstock-olive, choc chip, white (SU!); dp by Chatterbox; white embossing powder; versamark; Cuttlebug and Nestabilities; horizontal punch and tab punch (Stampin' Up!); corner rounder punch (Creative Memories); white brads (Paper Studio); Prismacolor pencils and odorless mineral spirits; Twinkling H20s; dimensionals (SU!); ribbon (May Arts).

Only one more day to enter to win blog candy..see post below!

Thanks for stopping by!

Oh my goodness! I think I might be tempted to leave your 'gift' in the box until after you've sold your home. Between that and your underwear, it just might cause some raised eyebrows...and be the talk of the town. lol

And I love your kangaroo card -- cute, fun, and happy! ;)

Cammie, what is the gift your husband bought you? Is it vase or what!

My daughter's college friend lives in Honduras. She was in the peace corps I believe and lived down there for a couple of years. She met and fell in love w/one of the Christian preachers in Honduras and they got married about 4 years ago and they still live there. They have two children and my DD is always sending her things from the states for them because they are so limited there.

It is a small world indeed!

I cracked up before I read your comments on your unusual gift. But
I would find a great place for it.
It's quirky piece and needs all the attention it can get.
