Warm Wishes!

Today I am sending some warm wishes to all of you who are still having cold weather (brrr!) I cannot imagine--it was 85 and HOT here today!

The butterfly stamps on this card are from Inkadinkado-Patterned Bugs Clear Stamp set. The sentiment is from Hero Arts Frames & Messages Clear Design Stamp Set. (I use these sentiments a lot!)

I stamped the butterflies once on white cardstock (with Brilliance black ink) and another time on vellum (with StazOn ink). After sponging the white cardstock with the Spring Moss stamp pad, I carefully cut out the butterflies from the vellum that I wanted to pop out. I added them on top of the white cardstock using small pop dots.

The background is Memory box paper that I lined up the swirls so that it looks like the path of that stray butterfly.

I popped up the sentiment and added silver eyelets and cord and finished it off with a little May Arts ribbon (my fav!).

The stamps, Memory Box paper and May Arts ribbon can be found at Stamper's Dream.

Materials used: Stamps- Patterned Bugs Clear Stamp set (Inkadinkado), Frames & Messages Clear Stamps (Hero Arts); white cardstock (SU!); Vellum (Paper Company); Sponge; Spring moss cardstock, ribbon, stamp pad (Papertrey Ink); brilliance black ink; Staz On black; label punch, circle punch, tab punch, corner ticket punch (Stampin' Up!); Cropadile; silver eyelets (SU!); silver cord (SU!); May arts black and white polka dot ribbon; paper piercing tool and mat pack (SU!); dimensionals (SU!).

Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous card! I just bought this stamp set mostly for the biggest butterfly. I almost didn't because I didn't think I'd use the stamp you used on your card. Thanks for the wonderful example. Now I can't wait to make a card with that stamp.

That is definitely gorgeous! Love the pattern with the butterflies and that some of them are ready to fly away! And I could definitely use some green! Still lots of snow here. Temps are warming up but there's just so much snow to melt! So thanks for the warm wishes!

Absolutely fabulous! I love the black and white...that is VERY creative. Do you wake up with these marvelous ideas, dream about them at night, or are they just there??? CONGRATULATIONS on your Spring(?) weather, I'm happy with a high of 65F, LOL. TFS.
