Seems like Christmas is just around the corner and there are so many things to do so I cannot promise how good I will be at blogging but I will certainly pop in with things when I can.
Today, I wanted to share a card I did for our weekly CCEE challenge. We originally were going to take the month of December off but then a few decided to create a few challenges for whoever wants to play. Since I had a little bit of time today, I was able to play along. The easy challenge this week was to create a card with blue on it and you also must use brads.
Here is mine:
I used the Gina K Designs set Warm and Cozy Christmas. I adore this fella. I colored the image with Copic markers and matted it on a scalloped red circle. The designer paper is from October Afternoon and I thought it was perfect for this challenge. To accent the snowflakes on the dp, I added some Spellbinders snowflakes on top of a few of them and accented each of them with a red crystal sticker.
Pure Luxury cardstock and ribbon (Gina K Designs) on this card. Crystal stickles were added to the snow by the boy's feet so it has a nice sparkle. The final detail is the little mini candy cane. Honestly, I added this so that my kids would tell me that they loved the card. I am a bit rusty since I took a few days off so I went for the easy "Hooray" from the judges! What can I say---I have no shame!! It worked!
