Thanks and LOVE...

....from the bottom of my heart for all the comments and emails...I am so touched. I have been on the other side (the one who has to choose a dt) quite a few times and I know it is a VERY difficult process. Just because I wasn't selected, doesn't mean that they think I am bad...just not what they were looking for. I know that. I merely wanted to share because I know there were tons of people who were disappointed as well, and quite frankly, sometimes it does help to know there are others of us out there. It is part of this life---just keep getting back on that horse!

Hope you all have a great weekend and a happy Valentine's Day! Here is a fun Valentine I created with some Basic Grey paper and buttons I got from Eclectic Paperie. I love that store--they have tons of fun stamps and goodies--- and Joy and Daisy are the sweetest people. Eclectic Paperie was also a sponsor of my Alzheimers Heart to Heart Card drive! THANKS SO MUCH JOY AND DAISY!

I used my Scor-Pal to add the grid pattern on the brown mat. I sponged the cardstock with Riding Hood Red ink (SU!).

Have a wonderful day!

Thanks for stopping by!

Brown and pink, one of my favorite color combos. The grid makes me think of a waffle cone, and the pink what else but strawberry icecream. It is beautiful, and made me hungry too!

Your card is gorgeous! I have that paper and it's inspiring some ideas for me. Thanks for that!

Also, as far as not being chosen for the DT position... I appreciate your honesty and sharing it with us. I've never tried out for a DT position and am not able to at this time due to family obligations... but if/when I do, I'll remember your post about it. Personally, I love all your designs.

Lastly, do you ever go through a period where you feel your creative mojo is lacking? Several times I've started on a card and then after multiple changes, I'm still not happy with it. I go online and look at all the gorgeous cards on other people's blogs and wonder if it's just me. Please tell me that not every card you start turns out perfect! LOL!

((hugs))!

I think your attitude about not being chosen for the DT is a great one Cammie. As bad as it feels it definitely will not make or break you. Good for you for being sad about it but for also taking it in stride.

Love your card, by the way! The colour combo is gorgeous. xx
