It made me chuckle (out loud in my office).....so my husband and daughter came to see what I was laughing about....
Hubby: What are you laughing at?
Me: This card. Do you get it????--Meet the frog under the mistletoe ...one kiss...and you have a prince. What a cool Christmas gift!
Hubby: They aren't going to get it.
DD: I think it is funny, mom. I bet they accept it.
I used my JustRite Harmony Rectangular Stamper and Brayton font to create the sentiment.
Here is where the story gets even funnier:
This card didn't get picked up but I was emailing the editor about something that was picked up and I just had to ask if she "got" it---
Me: So did you get the card with the frog that says "Meet Me Under the Mistletoe"
Editor: Oh yes, we got it. Sorry that it wasn't accepted.
Doh! I realized my mistake as soon as I hit the "Send" button. I wanted to know if they understood the humor of it not if they received the submission.
Now...I REALLY think this card is funny! (hee!)
Luckily, I take rejection very well---the publication kind anyway. That editor probably now thinks I am C*R*A*Z*Y! ---->How many times do we have to reject a project???

It's Monday and time for another CCEE challenge. We all received some stamped images and designer paper from Stamps and Smiles and had to make a card with them. Unfortunately, the stamped images I received bled a little when I tried to color them with Copics so mine didn't do the image justice! You can check out all CCEE cards HERE! Hope you will play along!
Thanks for stopping by!

Gotta extra giggle for you about your card. When I first read your post & you said pub call, I was thinking a nightclubish place. Like the English have pubs for their beer. :) Then I had the duh moment & realized you meant publication. LOL! Great card!
Thanks for the laugh!! HUGS!

I LOVE that card. I "got It" & that's my favorite type of sentiments. Their loss for not accepting it, the reader's would have loved it.
hehe....I think that I'll have to make something like this for DH (since his nickname is Toad) for his Christmas card!! hehe
I think it is adorable!!
Very funny! Sorry it didn't make it for publication.
AWWW!! This is just as sweet as can be!! I love your froggie!! ;) TFS!
What a funny story, Cammie!
And the froggie is so cute! Too bad for the publicators people; they don't have a scence of humor!
Carolyn, put a necklace around his neck w/a charm that says "Prince." THEN they'll get it! :)
