Life has been busy. Two kids started school....baseball started...my youngest starts preschool next week....then softball season begins.....all this and my husband and I are trying to dot every i and cross every T this month--because next month he deploys to Iraq.
Sure makes you realize how much you have....and what an amazing support system friends and family are.
In celebration of the temperature here dropping below 100---how about a Fall Gina K Designs project?! Here is a tag I created with Theresa's amazing new set called Autumn Beauty. The images in this set are beautiful and just the perfect combination to create a lovely fall scene. I inked up my tag with banana ink (SU!) and then sponged some mustard ink on it and along the edges. Then, I sponged some Ranger tea dye ink along the edges too before stamping the wheat/corn in the background. The scarecrow is stamped and colored with Copics and then cut out and popped on top of the scene for some fun dimension.
I used one of the sunflowers in the set as the sun and made sure to add plenty of gold stickles to the center of it. I stamped the sentiment on the tag and then added some self adhesive nail heads. Finally I used a piece of ribbon tied with some textured ribbon from a Stamp TV kit.
Easy, Fast and fun. I love tags (grin!)
Hope you have a GREAT day!
Thanks for stopping by!
