I hope you are able to enjoy your family time together and all the best to your DH! Don't be sorry at all, it gives me time to catch up on others blogs, coz sometimes I don't have time for all the ones I love!

Cammie,
I echo everyone elses sentiment when they say don't apologize or feel bad!
You should be spending family time before your Husband deploys!
I hope everyone feels better soon so that you can spend the time together and be able to enjoy it!
I will keep you in my prayers for fast healing and your Husband for a safe and speedy return home.
Thank you to you and your Husband for the sacrifice you make to keep the rest of us safe and able to pray and live without fear!

God Bless you all,
Mary Friederichsen

Cammie, do NOT apologize! ;-) Get your sick ones well and enjoy your week with your husband. As much as I love seeing your creativity, family is always more important.

Cammie-
Sounds to me like you've got your priorities straight! Family first...and know that you and your family will be in my thoughts daily during this deployment...a Mom with one in the Navy and one in the Army.

Sending prayers your way. You have to much on your plate right now. You owe none of us an apology. May I put a candle in my window in honor of your husband. What day does he actually deploy.

Family is first...why should you apologize? I can't think of any reason. You said it best...there's illness at home and your life's partner is getting ready to leave to protect you and yours and all the rest of us. What a special man!

An Old Irish Blessing (revised)

May the road rise up to meet him.
May the wind always be at his back.
May the sun shine warm upon his face and rains fall soft upon his fields.
And until you meet him again,
May God hold him in the palm of His hand.

I think this is very fitting...may your sweetheart be safe and you all healthy!

Never apologize for putting family first, and even more so in both of these situations. You give us all so much; we have no problem letting you live your life (without us, if you must) for a bit. Wishing you a wonderful time, and your hubby a safe deployment and quick return. Hope everyone's healthy again soon too!
